What's New for 2014 The Hyundai Sonata boasts a bunch of revisions for 2014. These include standard driver-selectable steering effort, a sport-tuned exhaust (SE 2.0T only), available xenon headlights and LED taillights (Limited only), a ventilated driver seat (Limited) an optional blind-spot monitoring system, an improved stability control system and two new touchscreens. Other changes this year include refreshed styling, a revised power output for the 2.4-liter engine and various sound-deadening measures for a quieter highway ride.

What's New for 2015 The Hyundai Sonata is redesigned for 2015 with a more refined look and a larger cabin. A new Eco trim level with a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine also debuts, although the more powerful 2.0T trim level has nearly 30 fewer horsepower.

What's New for 2016 A 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration is standard on all 2016 Hyundai Sonata trims except the range-topping Limited 2.0T (which continues to have an 8-inch screen). A rearview camera and automatic headlights are standard on all trims as well. An automatic emergency braking system debuts on the Limited 2.0T, while Hyundai says it has retuned the Sonata's suspension for slightly improved handling.
