2012 Hyundai Sonata GLS 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 6A)

Review

I am very careful when I buy a car because I tend to keep them for long time. I built a matrix to help me decide what car to buy. The objective parameters (I add one subjective at the end) where: 1.- First class gas mileage . 2.- Excellent Crash Ratings 3.- Better than average warranty 4.- First class in space 5.- Better than average 5 years cost to own ) 6.- Excellent Price. Two cars came on top Hyundai Sonata/Kia optima. Both leaded the pack in gas mileage, tops in crash ratings, but the Sonata was bigger than the rest in almost any measure, great price tons of added standard features (Bluetooth was important because recent laws) around $2000 cheaper than Equivalent Camry/Accord

Best Features

This car is the best in it's class in all this categories; MPG, Horse Power, Warranty, Space (Trunk, headroom, shouldroom, headroom), best Price and lots of standard features you can go wrong with the sonata (Especially the GLS model) Standard Bluetooth, Blue link, comfortable seats, better than average radio, Ipod auxiliary jacks, easy iphone synch, best Horse power in class, Huge Trunk, nice styling, fun ride

Worst Features

Some blind spots, you need to slam the doors to close, Low passenger seat level (can they add just a simple lever to rise the seat??). The best value for your money is the GLS with popular packge. Caution ES has a rough ride, due to its sporty nature (low profile tires, etc), limited goes too expensive you can add a $100 Tomtom GPS to help guide you if you get lost the Nav in the limited add easily $2.000. Ride in GLS felt much forgiving than ES for less money. The turbo while fun adds a Premium with insurance be aware of that.
