2012 Hyundai Sonata GLS 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 6A)
I fell in love with this car the minute i saw a commercial for it and went to the dealer the next day.
Been Happy ever since.
Gas mileage in high 30s consistently on the highway, about 30 flat with mixed driving.
Starts every time and has never left me stranded.
I have owned 17 cars in my lifetime and this has been my favorite.
Comfortable, low maintenance, not too flashy but certainly modern, plenty of toys inside to keep one entertained.
Car radio is Bluetooth ready (droid compatible), and it accepts a USB Flash Memory in the car as a music source.
Wonderfully crafted interior.
Very easy to read gauges and dashboard night and day.
Massive trunk- i fit 2 full size mountain bikes in the trunk with luggage.
Excellent paint quality. Handles well in the snow.
Got stuck in a 24" storm last year with no problems until the snow hit the floorboards.
The right dealership makes all the difference with minor problems.
All the below mentioned problems were addressed when i was in for oil changes.
I get the car back after a short wait, the problems are addressed, the car is washed, and im good to go another 5k miles.
Drives a little strange compared to other cars, this is due in part to an electric power steering pump that dulls the steering sensation a little.
The car also slows down faster than most once you take your foot off the gas pedal.
Most certainly not.
Also, mine is one of the first cars off the line.
New cars, especially first year runs have little bugs that need working out and that takes time and customer complaints.
My Traction control computer has needed a reprogram, the Engine control unit needed an update, my glove box creaks unless locked and i had some strange air related buffeting sound/sensation by the dead pedal.
All taken care of free at dealer, no wait.
