    Sorry to hear about your trouble with the 2003 Sonata LX, at least it happened under warranty. I had a 2004 Sonata GLS with 150,000 miles and for the most part it was very reliable and never needed major service. Fords and Hyundais have both come a long way since then, I'm glad to say. I guess sometimes you just run into bad luck sometimes.

    My theory with the waiting would be fuel pressure builds up while the key is on before you try to start the engine. Have you had any service done (Spark plugs, Wires, air filter clean?). The car is 2003 so you should be getting close to the 100,000 mile mark. Have you tried a fuel system cleaner? May not do any good but will not hurt to try.

    Your car only had 30,000 miles. MaxLife products are intended for higher mileage cars (75,000+ miles). In spite of the product sheet claiming compatibility with Hyundai specs, I wouldn't have allowed its use in my car.     I don't think the 2008 Honda Accord will get exceptional reliability. Last time, we had a 2003 Honda Accord that was redesigned, and it wasn't as reliable as the 2006 Hyundai Sonata. Same as for 2007 Toyota Camry. Look at Consumer Reports and the number of complaints posted here.
