Bought this car about 3 months ago after test driving vs Optima and Camry hybrids. The assembly and ride are very nice with pleanty of room for me at 6'3" and a very usable rear seat.
There are complaints about the car being jerky of the line.
Only happened once to me merging into traffic while turning and ICE kicked in chirping a tire. Brakes are a little nonlinear but never felt unable to stop smoothly or agressively if needed.
Open road fuel efficiency is very good with electric mode frequently running half a mile or so on the freeway.
Traffic mpg not so great especially in 20-40 mph range.
I average about 36 mpg but can be significantly less.
More like 44 on a couple trips.
Variable lumbar support, nice ride and handling in
town or highway, highway mileage.
Tachometer, some people say you don't need them in this type car but I disagree.
Many hybrid drivers interact with their cars to optimize performance and it does come with a gate for manual gear shifting.
Toggling the information displays is a pain.
If you are looking at MPG and you want to check remaining fuel range you must go through all the options to get back to MPG.
Allow toggling forward and back please.
Eco needle is pretty useless as a learning device.
Push the gas and it goes toward the bad zone ..Duh.
Much rather see Honda style charge/assist guage so you see what the battery is doing real time.
For example if I exceed the max charge rate with the brakes I waste energy
