2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS Fwd 4dr SUV (2.7L 6cyl 4A)
I like the Santa Fe 2.7L V6 very much. It is relatively quiet and handles well on curves, and the mileage I get is 20-22 around town and 26-28 on the highway. No long trips as yet. The steering is a little too responsive if you take your eyes off the road to adjust the AC or heating, or radio.
The fold down rear seats; the rear window access without opening the rear door; excellent storage space for a small or mid-size SUV. I would prefer not to have a privacy rear window for it is somewhat hazardous in parking lots at night. I don't mind the side privacy windows.
Remove the privacy glass in the rear window. Adjust the steering so it is not quite as responsive. Give a little more leg room for guys taller than 6 ft.
