ought our first Genesis in 11/11.
We love the car and have had such good luck with it that we purchased another Genesis last spring, trading in my wife's Audi A6.
Build quality is great with no squeaks or rattles and so is the reliability thus far.
We are getting about 21 mpg around town in mixed driving and over 28 mpg on the road.
The V6 is excellent with good power and fuel economy.
I don't see a need for the V8 on this car.
Lexicon sound is very good and so is the touch screen navigation on the premium model.
Ride and handling are pretty decent although not up to par with the Germans yet.
Only visits to the dealer are for oil change/tire rotation.
Heated and cooled seats should be available for both driver and passenger as well as 8 way power passenger seat in premium or Tech package.
Parking sensors should be standard not tech only option.
The car would also benefit from a fold down rear seat -- the pass through is inadequate.
Hyundai needs to upgrade the dealer experience if they want to play in the upscale vehicle market.
They should look at how Lexus customers are treated and apply some of that to Genesis/Equus owners if they want to play in the big leagues.
