In a depressed economy, Genesis 4.6 is good compromise to upscale German/ Japanese sedan. It has Lexus leather,a quality sounding stereo, decent acceleration,a good warranty. However, it suffers most with aggressive handling. It severely understeers when aggressively cornering and fights the driver to straighten out rather than staying in the curve ala BMW. Automatic transmission is smooth but sport mode (pseudo manual) shifting is lethargic. There is glare over the seven inch display and no touch mode operation. Better bluetooth than my BMW M5.Cooled seat setting (driver only) defaults off each time car is turned off. Stereo spontaneously switches to IPOD mode (same song) when car starts up cold.
It uses regular unleaded gas!! It looks European especially if one gets the Bently emblems (about $119). It has nice back seat that seats two full sized adults much more comfortably than MB E class or BMW 5 series. Stereo sounds great."Safety Cruise" mechanism is "just OK".Good Price for 380 HP. Quiet.
Handling must be improved! It needs the twin clutch shifter from 2010 m3. Stereo must keep the driver' setting. Cd player reverts to factory setting each time you turn the car off and won't stay in random play mode. Difficult to command voice controls. Ac doesn't cool like Lexus. Needs sport handling pkg
