I think Hyundai has a plan for the name Genesis. Notice Genesis Sedan, Genesis Coupe. In Canada I have seen a few Genesis models at the dealer lot with only the Genesis name on the car, no Hyundai name, or badge to be seen anywhere inside or outside the car. We want a a 2009 V8 tech package, dark color. Curios about 2010 too, but rather buy 2009 at heavy discount. Tax in Forida is enorrmous. Genesis cars shouldn't really be mixed with the same quality levels as other hyundai cars just like you can't say an acura is honda in terms of quality. Even though the Genesis does contain a flying h on its back it is no doubt 10-15 points higher in quality. $5000 off MSRP is a fantastic deal. That's $28,000 for a base 3.8L. I'm suspicious but I can't find anything to say it isn't legit. Maybe there's some secret marketing support from Hyundai? No rebate is mentioned. Anyway, I don't know if I'd trust a dealer who misrepresents the fuel economy of vehicles it sells and can't tell an Accent from an Entourage. You're right.
