Apparently in the Genesis’ home market of South Korea, buyers favor softly-sprung luxury cars, so Genesis models sold in the US actually have firmer suspension than models sold in Korea. From the initial review by MT on the 3.8: Though normally smooth and comfortable, it tends to get unsettled easily on rough or irregular roads -- especially where the left side of the road is smooth and the right is not. Hyundai calls the Genesis a sport sedan, but despite sharing the platform with the Genesis coupe, we can’t quite agree with Hyundai. Why should anyone bother to post anything here that is counter to your opinion? When we do that, it is simply dismissed... even if it's the opinions of over 150 actual Genesis owners. I would be really interested in how they fixed it -- do you know, or could you ask? That $5,000 bill is pretty astounding, but at they fixed it. Hyundai is STILL working on my vehicle. An engineer from the manufacturer flew in today. Everybody is stumped. Maybe they should call a Mercedes tech in! Read More...

My father in law has a Mercedes that did the exact same thing last week, EXACT! I bet the Hyundai was cheaper to repair though, the bill for repair on the Mercedes is expected to be upwards of $5000. Read More...
