Is There Room in the Luxury Market for Hyundai?

Re: Stand Alone Dealers and Luxury car success [lokki]

Per Galves, the wholesale book for the Northeast region, V8 Genesis models have no market Value yet. Not enough have come back. The V6 cars with a moonroof are showing trade in value between 26,500 and 28,000 with 11,000 miles. I don't think they have been out long enough to really get a meaningful sample size for values though. According to Hyundai's website that ... Read More...

Is There Room in the Luxury Market for Hyundai?

Re: Not a luxury car company [carolinabob]

I am not sure where you are getting your figures, but they don't match reality: The BMW Group also reported a year-to-date sales volume of 179,219 vehicles, down 24.2 percent, compared to 236,327 vehicles sold in the first nine months of last year. http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2009/10/01/479933.html Volvo sales, YTD vs. 2008: down 22.2% http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2009/10/01/479933.html ... 2010 Suspension Changes

Per Cars.com, the 2010 Genesis will be tweaking the suspension - "Hyundai has also made changes to the suspension that aims to improve ride quality without compromising handling performance". It will be interesting to see how this addresses some of the complaints in the 2009 suspension being unsettled over less than perfect road surfaces. The 2010 models ... Read More...

Hi gponick. Hyundai's September buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease off a 2009 Genesis Sedan V8 with 15,000 miles per year are .00090 and 44%, respectively. Re: Hyundai 2009 Genesis Sedan V6 w/Technology Pkg Lease Question [toottoot]

Hi toottoot. The money factor and cash incentive that you mentioned in your post look great. They're right in line with Hyundai's current incentives for this model. That leaves this car's selling price as the most important remaining variable. It's excellent that you know what that number is and mentioned it in your post, but we don't have any reference point ... Read More...

Hyundai Genesis Prices Paid and Buying Experience

Re: 2009 Genesis 3.8 Premium Plus Price Check [markm3000]

Didn't price one, but I was at my Hyundai dealer for service, and noticed a lof of Genesisisiszzzz on the lot with big pink writing on the windshields. IIRC, it was $3000 discount and $1000 off for something else. I assme those prices are national. I sat in a beautiful 3.8 tech package and pushed all the buttons, but resisted the offer to drive it. Must resist... must ... Read More...

Hyundai Genesis Sedan 2009-

One major thing Hyundai needs to fix!

I am looking to either lease a 2009 Hyundai Genesis now or wait until next Summer. When I go to local Hyundai dealership websites and click on "Genesis" to see their investory, you will see one picture of a Genesis and then 10 Genesis Coupes in their inventory. Hey dealers! Separate the two cars! Read More...
