Ok, now I've driven both a V6 and a V8 version of the 2009 Genesis. I still haven't driven a 2010, so my comment only applies to the older version. In my opinion, the Genesis is a beautiful car, the engine and transmission are well matched, the interior is gorgeous...but, the ride is awful. I just leased a 2009 3.8 Genesis w/tech from Capitol Hyundai in San Jose with the following terms: MSRP $40180 Cap cost $36700 (~$600 below invoice) MF 0.00019 Residual 46% Wear/tear coverage $603 Payment $507 + tax Had a very smooth experience with these guys, and they were much more responsive than other dealers in the area. I recommend anyone considering, or owning, a Genesis check out this site. IMO they give the most balanced review and even break down the road test, scores, etc. by model -separeately for 3.8, 4.6 and coupe. For the Record...I own a 4.6/Tech Genesis and couldn't be happier with it. I think it rides EXCELLENT and would NOT change suspension even if they pay me! Also for the record, I like the ride of my 2009 Genny V8 just the way it is. I have a little over 8000 miles now and I don’t have the problem that the V6 guys are complaining about. I drove a 2010 v8 in the past week. I like it. I don't remember exactly what the ride was like in 2009 I drove a few months back but back then, there was something about the ride I wasn't totally comfortable with. Has anybody driven a 2010 Genesis? Does it ride significantly better than the 2009? If so, Hyundai should replace the suspension components on the 09s with those on the 10s as the 09 customers desire. It might be as simple as replacing the shocks and springs, as expensive as the tires, or as complex as the bushings. What tires are on the Genesis? If they're Bridgestones, ... Read More...

They were able to avert abysmal sales by offering America's best warranty program, period... I give USA car buyers more credit than that. A longer warranty might help sales for a little while. But if the quality and reliability of the cars isn't there, warranty alone won't sell cars (see the earlier posts about Mitsubishi and Chrysler, for example). So I disagree ... Read More...
