2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track 2dr Coupe (3.8L 6cyl 6A)

Review

The car is fun to drive and look at, but has many flaws. I've had multiple transmission problems to include a total replacement at 4200 miles. Traction control doesn't work all the time, the bluetooth radio is horrible as it syncs and won't allow calls until complete (which can take 15 minutes each time you get in the car). The paint on my hood had to be buffed and polished due to it being "soft", the speedometer is inaccurate, and Hyundai refuses to act on many of the issues. I would not recommend this vehicle and am in the process of using the lemon law on mine.

Best Features

Sporty and catches the eye

Worst Features

Work on the fit and finish. Quality is not a priority on this product.

2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 2dr Coupe (3.8L 6cyl 6M)

Review

I've had a good time so far with this vehicle. I've had other sports cars (7), from RX7's to INTEGRA GSR. This car is great. I would like to take it to a good road and just push it to the max, but I'll probably busted. AZ is harsh on speeding, but I understand. I haggled the best I could for a decent price. A "Pretty Blue Boy", that's what I call it!

Best Features

Price, Styling and Performance.

Worst Features

Maybe some side molding to protect from " parking door dinks".

2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Grand Touring 2dr Coupe (3.8L 6cyl 6A)

Review

I used to sell Infinitis for a living and it's easy to see what the benchmark for this car is. For almost $20,000 less for a similarly equipped car, the Genesis is 95% of the way to a G37 Coupe. Yes, it does ride firm but it's a sports car. Being British, I'm probably more used to firm riding cars. The road noise is noticeable. I'm looking forward to changing to high performance tyres in the spring to see if that helps.

Best Features

The seats - very supportive and heated Handling - like it's on rails. Headlights - great range. Interior - Love the leather. Controls are nicely designed and not over-complicated. Fuel economy - 21mpg on average. Takes regular gasoline. Remote locking system.

Worst Features

Adjustable height seat belts. More adjustment on passenger seat. Less intrusive traction control. LED rear lights. Memory seats at an option.

2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T Premium 2dr Coupe (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 5A)

Review

I bought my 2.ot in december and love this car, maybe should have gotten the v6, but still very happy. The acceleration is very nice for the size of the engine. I haven't noticed any of the turbo lag that many have noted, just learned the sweet spots I guess. Fit and finish is nice although I could do without the silver painted plastic masquerading as chrome. Looks are great, interior is well laid out and comfortable. Handling is great, ride is nice. Great car especially for the money

Best Features

Styling, fuel efficient turbo charged engine. Well laid out interior. Fit and finish.

Worst Features

only one, replace the fake chrome painted plastic with real chrome or brushed aluminum.

Vehicle

2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Grand Touring 2dr Coupe w/Navigation (3.8L 6cyl 6M)

Review

At $27k OTD, the 3.8 Grand Touring is a fantastic car if bought for the right reasons. The suspension and seats are very firm (yes, even non- Track versions)- this, coupled with road noise, can make long trips tiring. Performance, handling, and visibility are top-notch and the interior is well appointed with excellent design, fit, and finish. Nav w/ integrated stereo is awesome for Ipod/music control but screen is a touch too small for the nav. The clutch and 6-spd are VERY quirky making the car very difficult to drive smoothly- would DEFINITELY recommend the automatic even though I am a 6-spd lover. Overall, VERY fun to drive around town but not a long-distance cruiser. Would buy it again.

Best Features

Power, visibility, handling, and braking are all tops. Nav w/ Ipod controls is intuitive and easy to use. Open sunroof is very quiet, even at highway speed. The camel-colored leather of the GT is gorgeous- head rests are tops. Everything is within easy reach in cockpit. Very quiet for WIND noise.

Worst Features

SOUND ISOLATION FROM ROAD NOISE!!! Clutch is very quirky- gear ratios are almost too close. Hood is slightly misaligned with fenders. Rear seat vents to reduce front-to-rear convection currents in cold weax- you can feel cool air moving around. Soften the ride a bit. Ipod discharges when car is off.
