The 4-speed is disappointing to me too. The Hyundai press release makes it clear the "Blue" trim is only a stick. The blog entry made it look like Blue was available with an AT. But how many of those are SEs? I see quite a few GLSes on lots, but since the current generation debuted in late 2006, I've seen maybe two SEs on dealer lots. It was nearly impossible to find one to test drive. And this is a big metro area (Twin Cities) with several Hyundai dealers. Read More...

my elantra has a horrible alignment problems i have aligned it every six months since i have gotten it in 2006 and my tires are getting woren to the steel lining. are there any permanent fixes for this problem. other then going to get a alignment every six months :( Read More...

Just another comment regarding clutch replacements - mine just set me back over $1,400 on a 2006 Elantra Hatchback. I took it to an independant garage where I was given a two year warranty. The dealership offered a one-year warranty for the replacement Hyundai clutch - good to find out how long they figured the second one would last. Read More...

They sell for the lowest prices I've seen anywhere, not only Hyundai but Mazda and VW as well. I bought our 2006 Elantra GLS sedan automatic in December 2005 for just a tick above $13K, including tax, title, and license. Read More...

I was recently quoted $15,113, plus tax, title, and license for an Elantra Touring automatic with floor mats, cargo tray, and mud guards, from Pugi Hyundai in Downers Grove, IL, near Chicago. I purchased my 2006 Elantra GLS sedan from them, and they're good people. The $15,113 price was an outright purchase price, including the $1,500 rebate. Read More...
