2013 Hyundai Elantra GT 4dr Hatchback (1.8L 4cyl 6A)

Review

Just bought the car a couple of weeks ago. Had narrowed decision down to Toyota Prius or the GT. Decided on the GT because of price, standard features, warranty, no batteries to replace and, believe it or not, quietness! Admitedly it is a little smaller than the Prius but we are empty nesters in our 60's looking for an around town/short road trip car. The car is a joy to drive and so quiet. Suspension is "sports", i.e., fairly stiff. Car feels solid.

Favorite Features

Quiet ride, mpg, adjustable steering, cooled glove box, XM radio/CD/USB, heated seats, 16" wheels, longer warranty, etc. and this is all in the base version

Suggested Improvements

Hyundai should offer door body side molding as an option. We had to have a 3rd party find/install it in matching color. But.....not a big complaint. Hard to give info about the price paid as we traded in a 2000 Mazda van with 198,000 miles on it. As this is a 2012 Hyundai doesn't seem to be giving great deals but it is a great car.
