I have a 2009 Azera limited. I am experiencing the same tire noise problem, sounds like a 4 x 4 with an aggressive tread pattern going down a dry road. I had the same experience at the dealership, they acted as though they knew nothing about this tire noise problem. They blamed the cupping on alignment. In my expeirence as a mechanic (years ago) cupping is caused by the tire bouncing ... Read More
I am considering buying a 2009 Azera Limited and would like to know if anyone knows what part of the warranty on that car I would be entitled to. I would not be buying it from a Hyundai dealer. Thanks for the help.
I'm suspecting that there's a host of tires out there that will give Azera owners a better driving experience. I think the Michelins that Hyundai chose to go with was simply just a very poor choice. The Azera SE's and the 3.3 Azeras all the models that were equipped with the 16" wheels came with the Kumho tires and I've yet to read one complaint about them.
I went with the Kumho's in same size. What a difference, my gosh its incredible. We can hear the radio at a lower volume and we can talk without all the "Huh's?" I did the shopping around and reading customer reviews on various tires. Then consulted with the service manager (Brian) at Gropetti's Hyundai in Visalia, Ca. He said he's had great results with the Kumho's and recommend we go that ... Read More
Hi, I used H&R lowering springs which I bought from a distributor in Richmond, B.C. (Canada). I did not have any suspension problems re fender scrape etc. I also used shocks from the 2009 Azera. First off I really love my 09' Azera Limited (Ultimate Plus Package w/navigation and the upgraded sound system), what a great car for the money. It had a clean Carfax and was ... Read More
I think problems with the Azera out there are few and most owners are thrilled with the car. We are just shy of 80,000 miles on our 2006 Limited and so far we have replaced a battery (pro-rated)under warranty. Im now living in the interior of Canada...the salesman at the Hyundai dealership said that the Sonata 4 cyclinder will not sell in this area due to the small motor. I just came from living in Korea in January and I will tell you the cars made in Korea, Sonata, Azera (Grandeur), include options such as Bluetooth, navigation, folding mirrors standard on just about every car for the last decade. Other Americans I ... Read More
RE: 283 You must be kidding. The "foreign" cars built in the US are in every way as good as those produced in the home country of the manufacturer. The technology employed in these new US plants is world class. The current wages paid to workers of these US based foreign manufacturers is similar to that of the US based companies, but the companies are not saddled with the old union ... Read More
In reference to a message I read saying they hoped Hyundai would listen to complaints if the cars were built in the U.S. American car companies owned Korean car companies until recently. They don't anymore and there is a good reason for it. America stinks at running car companies; they ran the car companies so bad in Korea that the consumers demanded the U.S. companies leave. The reference to the ending of the hybrid tax credit in October 2007 is for Toyota only. The other manufacturers that have not reached their 60,000 vehicle allotment will still have full tax credits until 2008, 2009, etc. Ford sells a Hybrid Escape and they will not meet their 60,000 allotment of hybrids sold by this October 2007 if they continue at their current sales rate. So they will still be ... Read More
rumor came out of korean auto mag, spy btw the 9th vehicle if it will come out, would be a 2008-2009 vehicle, and will not be the next equus. If you think about it, there is no way hyundai has that sort of reputation by 2008 to be able to sell say a 40-50 grand car much like the 7 series or A8, which ultimately what the equus is in korea. ...
