Hi, I am having the same problem but am located in Vanuatu (a small country in the south pacific) and we dont have a hummer dealer in the country. Do you know what the parts needed were then I can order them on line. Thanks.
I guess, not defending them but would have to witness the vibration. They do have a small amount of vibration especially if it has the Off-Road package due to the extra knobby tires. If the vehicle sat on the lot for any length of time, that will cause flat spots to develope in the tires. But if they changed the wheels, should fix that issue unless from another vehicle sitting a ... Read More
I am going to be turning in my 2007 H3 in August from my 39-month GMAC lease and I don't want to keep the vehicle. Does anyone know if they are charging a lot on the returns for misc. wear/tear or tires? In general my H3 is in great shape, including being under the alotted mileage, but I don't want to have to pay anything when I turn it in. The ... Read More
I am thinking of buying a used 2006 or 2007 H3. It will probably have between 40,000 - 50,000 miles on it. To describe a complex situation in very broad brush strokes, GM has just announced that the sale to China of the Hummer brand has fallen through, so they're now going to close it down in an orderly manner. It very much depends on how many miles you'll put on ... Read More
I am thinking of buying a used 2006 or 2007 H3. It will probably have between 40,000 - 50,000 miles on it. I have two concerns; 1. GM says it will honor the warranties but can they legally retract that commitment at a later date? 2. Parts availability concerns me. If I get in an accident 6 years from now will I be able to get a quarter panel and whatever ... Read More
I was driving the H3 (2007) going about 55mph when the vehicle jerked, slowed down and started smoking. I pulled over and had the vehicle towed to a shop. The owner told me the differential fluid came out, which was evident by all the fluid on the side of the vehicle. The back end was locked up. I got an estimate of $2,600.00. My husband (my hero) had the vehicle towed ... Read More
First of all...thanks to all of you that replied. I did in fact trade in Jeep Commander and buy the Hummer H3. I'm very happy with the trade and so far am enjoying my H3. I was surprised that within an hour of picking up the H3, some one asked if it was one of those 'gas guzzling' machines. The woman clearly had an agenda, and I had to bite my ... Read More
The last post in the Hummer H3 Prices Paid & Buying Experience discussion raises the issue of value and support. If GM completes the pending sale to the Chinese company trying to buy it (not a sure thing), does that help or hurt the resale? Scarcity could increase the value, but who knows. There should be plenty of parts available even at GM dealers for quite a while I'd think. There's ... Read More
I'm strongly considering a used 2007 H3. I'm not sure if it's a good deal or not, so I thought I'd ask those of you that actually have a hummer. Mileage is 23,000, has power sunroof, some chrome on body, but otherwise seems to be pretty standard. The dealer really hasn't moved from his original price of $21,880. The trade in value on my current jeep started at 12,000 but now ... Read More

Hello holson. You never mentioned the selling price of the H3 that you are interested in leasing. This is an important number for you as a consumer to know for two reasons. First, the selling prices of leased vehicles can be negotiated, just as if you were paying cash for them. Without knowing the price of the truck that you want to lease you don't know how good a price you ... Read More

Hello sinnombre. GMAC's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2007 Hummer H3 with 12,000 miles per year are 4.6% and 61%, respectively. The $950 reduction that you are being given on this truck is bonus cash that is being paid for by General Motors. You should be able to negotiate an additional dealer discount on top of that. Hi ryano1. If you are able to take advantage of GMS pricing, I am surprised that the lease payments that you were quoted by these dealers were not all exactly the same. GMAC's current base lease rate for the 2007 Hummer H3 is 4.6%. Shame on your wife's uncle for trying to mark up your truck's lease rate . Car_man Host Prices Paid Forum
Thats bull crap and he knows it. I have a Colorado 4 X 4 and it is smooth as glass all the way up to 90. I have had over 20 4X4's and never had this problem.
I have a two week old Hummer H3. I took it in to the dealer this past Monday because I noticed that when I'm driving at 45mph the steering wheel shakes like the front wheels are out of round. The dealer changed out the wheels, checked the front end and did everything possible. Unable to find the reason for the problem they drove a brand new Hummer H3 off the lot, ... Read More
I am having a hard time getting a dealership to tell me they can get me a 2006 H3x with no mileage (or very little). All the sales guys keep pushing is a 2007, but I am thinking I can get a greater rebate if I can find a 2006...is this foolhearty? Where are all the 2006s out there? I see that under current rebates and incentives a lot of manufacturers ... Read More
I regetfully own a 2007 H3 Hummer. I purchased it January 13, 2007. I was told it was the Cadillac of Suvs by Wright Hummer of Pittburgh. 2.5 months later and 4000 miles, I own a H3 with a defective cylinder head. I guess I don't want to own a Cadillac...8 -10 days for repair because of slow parts availability.
Internet searching turned this up today, any truth to it? Hummer H3s Now Standard with Child Safety Locks In addition to the interior door panel upgrade, Hummer has also included rear door child safety locks in every H3 produced after February 1st. Great news for parents looking for the Hummer H3 to be a family vehicle, and may have been looked at other vehicles instead of the H3 because of child ... Read More
Thanks for the additional information, yingxiong. The dealer invoice price for a base 2007 Hummer H3 with an automatic transmission is $29,100, so $500 over that would be $29,600. The price that you mentioned is around $1,000 over that. Try to get the dealer to lease you this truck for $500 over the invoice price that I mentioned, add in your negative equity, and then use GMAC's base lease rate of ... Read More
Hey Everyone, Just picked up my custom-ordered H3 last Thursday. getting used to it. Question: The radio reception isn't very good. Little statically. Any suggestions on how to get better reception? Anyone else with this problem? Thanks. Patrice 2007 H3 Luxury Edition
Explorer, Santa Fe, Verzcruz, Jeep GC, and a few others, I just found out the H3 exists...the other Hummers seemed to me to be like tanks, literally, when all I want is a midsized SUV, about the same size as an Explorer (I do think it is the ideal size, but looking for similar comparables) In terms of space, size, seat comfort (power seats w/adjustable lumbar supports...yes or no???), how does ... Hi oregonhumm. While the dealer that you are working with will probably try very hard to hold you to your signed agreement, you probably can still get out of this deal if you want to since you have not physically taken delivery of your new truck. Once you drive a vehicle off of the lot, it becomes a lot harder to get out of. I am not personally all that familiar ... Read More
Hi johnnyd5555. GMAC's base lease rate for the 2007 Hummer H3 is currently 3.45%. As long as your credit is in good shape and you paid a security deposit, it looks like the dealer that you got your truck from marked its rate up by 1% to add additional back-end profit to your deal. As far as this truck's price goes, a base 2007 Hummer H3X has a spread of $3,000 ... Read More

Unfortunately, joeycap, Hummer's lease rates are different than its special financing rates. Furthermore, General Motors is no longer providing lease support on 2006 models. If you want to lease a Hummer H3 through GMAC, you will have to go with a 2007 model. The 2007 H3's base lease rate is currently 3.45%, which is pretty good, but not nearly as good as the 0% finance rate that is available for 5 ... Read More

Hi tjones39. Yes, General Motors has special 24 and 27 month leases available on the 2007 and 2007 Hummer H3 right now. The 2006 Hummer H3's lease program is actually better than the 2007 H3's program right now. If you were to lease a 2006 Hummer H3 through GMAC right now for 24 months with 15,000 miles per year, its base lease rate and residual value should be 3.45% and 69%, ... Read More

I'm glad that you enjoy this forum so much, hooperaus. GMAC's lease program for the 2007 Hummer H3 is pretty good right now. I am not intimately familiar with what the market is like for the 2006 H3 right now, but I suspect that they can be had for fairly close to dealer invoice given the fact that the 2007 model is out. I would be happy to give you a ... Read More
Hi again romankory. The price of 2006 Hummer H3 models should fall when the 2007 model is introduced as dealers try to unload their leftover inventory. Has anyone heard if the 2007 HUMMER H3 can use E-85 fuel.
Fairly good gossip says 2007 should have about 20 more hp than 2006. Will still be much less than 300. Why do you want so much hp? I'm perfectly happy with mine as is. If I wanted something to do stoplight racing I wouldn't have gotten the H3. Seems to be a good balance between speed, low end power, and economy. Plenty of other car-based SUV's with more hp, and the ... Read More
