Review

I love this truck! I traded in my 330ci convertible BMW for it and haven't looked back since. The ride is incredible. You won't believe it until you drive one. The only downfall is the gas mileage, but you don't buy this truck if you need economy mileage.

Review

This is the best suv that i have ever owned. I have driven suv's for about fifteen years. It has an awesome presence and stance. It is well recognized in public. It is very comfortable and the sound system is awesome. Good job gm! The power is excellent and the cabin is very quiet.

Sound system, power plant, drivetrain, interior comfort, recognition.

Unbelievable drive through horrible whiteout conditions!. No slip, no slide . Safety a plus in this SUV.

Review

Smooth and powerful drive. Plenty of lux features that make it a pleasure to drive. Passenger room to be envious of! Lack of space for cargo in "truck" with spare tire placed inside. Great option is the third row seat. Comfortable for children and adults alike.

Favorite Features

Dashboard is easy to read and negotiate. Love the dual air conditioning settings. Great back seat space.

Suggested Improvements

Interiort made of more substantial material. You can actually press the glove box in w/ your finger with a little pressure. Rubber gaskets around all exterior windows have some small visual flaw, rubber actually "bends in" at one point.

Who Would Think?

Review

We never thought that this vehicle would satisfy so many of our needs. We just returned from a 1800 mile trip through some of the worst weather and traffic conditions and our Hummer H2 took us to NY and back in comfort and style. Not to mention how safe we felt. Other cars seem to stay away and those big rigs give respect. We cruised at 70 to 80 MPH and averaged 13.7 MPG. In the ad they say "Like nothing Else" - it's hard to explain but you get the feeling like you're Capt. Kirk commanding the Star Ship Enterprise. It's wonderful! If you need one vehicle to do everything, the H2 is it. We drove it for over 30 hours roundtrip and felt refreshed when we arrived. I would buy this H2 again.

Favorite Features

The safety and security of the ride. We even fought off traffic at the mall the day after Thanksgiving with ease. People don't want to mess with you.

Suggested Improvements

I really can't think of any improvments... Hummer has done a fine job with the H2 and we couldn't be happier.

Best SUV in this class

Review

This is without a doubt the best SUV in it's class. For those who have their doubts, this car must be driven to be appreciated. I have driven Land Cruisers, Suburbans, 4Runners, Escalades, Navigators (borrowed them from family, didn't own them all! :)) and the Hummer has to be my favorite out of them all. Superior handling, drivability, comfort, enjoyment, everything! I would hands down suggest this vehicle to anyone looking for a large SUV. It is simply the best.

Off-road capability, responsive steering, smooth ride.

Suggested Improvements

Obviously, the worst characteristic, fuel economy. I get about 14-15 on the interstate and 12-13 around town with a light foot. Better than I expected, and quite frankly, absolutely acceptable for the vehicle's size.

I REALLY ENJOY AND LOVE MY 2004 HUMMER H2, BESIDES THE FACT THAT THE CITY GAS MILAGE ISN'T TO GOOD, THE HWY MILEAGE IS COMPARABLE TO OTHER SUV'S OF IT'S SIZE. THERE IS NO VEHICLE OUT THERE THAT COMPARES TO THE OFF ROAD DRIVING, OF MY H2.

Favorite Features

MY FAVORITE FEATURES ARE ALL THE LUXURY UPGRADES IN MY H2, SUCH AS THE CUSTOMIZE GEAR SHIFT, THE CHROME ACCENTS AND THE OFF ROAD CAPABILITIES.

Suggested Improvements

I'M VERY SATISFIED WITH MY H2, BUT ONE IMPROVEMENT IS TO IMPROVE THE GAS MILEAGE.

Great truck, excellent ride quality, handling and acceleration for such a heavy vehicle. Owned many cars and this one beats them all, even a Ranger Rover 4.6 HSE. Nice finish, leather interior and climate control system. On Star is a nice feature too. 3rd row seat gives seating for 6 or fold them down and there's tons of cargo space.

Favorite Features

Great view of the road and ride. Suspension absorbs bumps handles well. Great navigation system and sound system.

Suggested Improvements

Owned a Ranger Rover 4.6HSE previously and the Hummer beats it hands dow. If you're looking for good gas mileage, look elsewhere but if you're spending $60,000 for a truck then you shouldn't be worrying about the gas.

I have been a Hummer lover since before the H2 was around. When it came out I wanted it but it took me a few years to get to the point where I could afford it. Damn, I am glad I did. I love the truck. It is like nothing else. If you love it you love it and nothing compares. Why pay 60K for a Landcruiser when now it looks like everything else. I would highly recommend it. I don't drive 20k miles a year so the gas is not a problem. Plus with business writeoff, It is a steal..

Look, Smooth Ride, Look, new chrome on '05, and did I say look!!

Better place for spare tire.

The Best Truck I Have Owned

This truck is awesome to drive, a real head turner. Great performance. Very comfortable to drive/ride. Doesnt feel as big as it looks when you drive it. The problems I have had: a bolt fell out of the front suspension, dealership said a non-locking nut was used by mistake. One small area of paint peeling off of the top. They do need to offer back up sensors, because visibility is bad out of the back, especially with the rear tire rack.

Favorite Features

It looks awesome and drives well. Stereo is great.

Back up sensors. DVD entertainment system.
