Prelude
I absolutely LOVE my 2001 Honda Prelude Type SH! I bought it brand new as a leftover on April 27, 2002 (7 years ago tomorrow). I just hit 110,000 miles and the car still looks great & drives amazing. My car has a build date of October 2001, making it one of the last Preludes ever built (I think production stopped in ovember '01). I still get compliments on what great condition ... Read More...

Re: 1995 Honda Prelude Si [carlover13]
Hey, so I don't know 'ALL' the technical specs about honda preludes, but I am seriously considering buying one and did many hours of research. Honestly you should buy a prelude from 1997-2001, One because they look way nicer, I'de say sexy, and you can actualy buy them at the same price maybe one or two grand more depending on the millage. Just make sure you take your ... Read More...

Chapter 2 of Prelude Buying Experience--Got Cut Off But then he managed to recover himself and cleverly said, Ohhhhhh (long pause again because hes thinking of what to say) someone called us looking for this earlier today. How did it end up here? feigning earnestness and genuine concern. He then started up again, like a wind-up toy, about all the valuables ... Read More...
Re: lulu9 [nyccarguy]
After creating a short list of cars and cross-referencing these by reading a multitude of reviews, I realized that my heart was set on getting a 2001 Prelude Type SH. As mentioned in one of my first posts, I am a former Prelude owner, an 84, which I bought from a wealthy family who had relegated it to a train station car. Even in its early years, the Prelude had a great ... Read More...
Re: Lucky Me! Just Purchased 2001 Prelude SH... [nyccarguy]
Nighthawk Black Pearl...very sleek. Yep--you called it! Still has original Bridgestone Potenza tires. You must know that after driving a donut for 5+ years (a Camry--I experimented by going into a conservative, sensible stage that put me into a driving coma), I decided to get back to my roots--where I genuinely belong. I learned the hard way that I absolutely ... Read More...
Re: Looking for some info [jm56435]
Well, I'll try to help you out as much as I can from my own experience. One of the great things about a Prelude is that it is a HONDA first and foremost. I own a 2001 Milano Red Honda Prelude Type SH that I purchased brand new in April of 2002. It currently has a touch over 76,000 miles on it and I drive it back and forth to work 6 days a week. It is fun to fling it around corners ... Read More...
Re: want to buy a prelude [arssa2020]
I guess the answer to your question is whatever the newest car with the least amount of mileage you can afford is. One of the beauties of the Prelude is that it remained relatively unchanged from 1997 - 2001 (it's last year of production, not 2002). Aside from a few exterior color changes, a slight change to the grill, and different seat fabrics the cars are all pretty ... Read More...
My Prelude
Since April 27, 2002 my Milano Red 2001 Honda Prelude Type SH has gotten me through a lot in our 69,000+ miles together. It survived a right rear suspension rebuild & cracked rim as well as a severed exhaust from a metal plate covering an open manhole. My Prelude survived being parked on the streets of NYC for 2 years without being stolen or side swiped by a city snow ... Read More...

WOW
I think that '88 is in better shape than my 2001 Prelude Is it a stick or automatic? 133,000 miles on an 18 year old car is NOTHING (especially a Honda). The best thing you can do is take it to a mechanic (preferably a Honda mechanic) and have him/her check the car out. Read More...
