Have not had that problem but my 2006 pilot with 50,000 miles needed the catalytic converter replaced. Thank goodness it was covered under the federal warranty. My honda warantee expired. I am considering an extended warantee. Does anyone have any suggestions for a extended warranty? Read More...

I believe you are going to find that aristotle is correct. If the car is over 36 months old, or has over the 36K miles, Honda Care will not cover it. That info comes directly from the Folks at Honda Care per my phone talk with them. If the dealer sends them such an application, they will reject it. My 2006 Honda Pilot makes this fog horn like sound when the engine is running. Noise occurs at random and at various speed. The noise stops when the engine is turned off and does not resume. SO within an hour of each other, we drove the CX-9 and the Pilot: CX-9: My wife loved it, smooth ride she said. The interior to her seemed as roomy as Pilot but I thought Pilot had more space and certainly have more stowaway space. I didn't feel that the dashboard was 'upscale' compared to the Pilot. I did not realize the 05 Pilot had the TPMS. First, I would make sure the reading is taken in the right temperature. I have a 2006 Pilot and the lights were on for awhile. What I tried was to over-inflated it just a a little bit, the light went off and then I took it back to 32. It may work for you too. Read More...
