Hey Unhappy Rust Victim !! Thanks for mentioning the BBB Autoline. I was not aware of them as a source for filing a complaint. I am curious about your Pilot EX. Hey Smart Guy !! I am so glad you had the evidence to back you up !! I'd like to think not all Honda Dealers are a bunch of inconsiderate knuckle-heads, however, I think situations like this prove different. So my wifes car for the last 2 years was a Jaguar X-type and it was a maintenance disaster. So I traded it in on Tuesday for a 2006 Honda Certified Pilot EX-L with nav tht has 51K. She absolutely LOVES the Pilot. Being certified, it comes with a HC bumper to bumper until 63K and a powertrain warranty until 100K. I have the Clear deflector from AVS for my 2006. It is very easy to install. There is NO drilling, but you do need to remove a couple screws and replace them with the screws that come with the deflector. The AVS deflector covers mor of the hood then the Honda OEM deflector. I have owned a 2006 Pilot EX 4wd for 2 years now with 22,000 miles. I have not noticed any vibration at any speed. Perhaps that is because the VCM does not exist on the 4wd models. Consider a 4wd instead of 2wd. We have really enjoyed the Pilot. Our previous vehicle was a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The Pilot's engine is smooth and quiet, but there is a bit more road noise ...
