Re: 2006 Pilot EX Gas Mileage on a new engine [bsolve1]
Thanks for the info. I guess the old saying "misery loves company" is true for me. I feel bad for you, but am glad that I am not the only experiencing this problem. I did a lot of on-line investigating and talked to a number of Pilot owners, and all seemed to be getting mpg's close to what Honda quotes. This is why I am so dissapointed with what I am getting. I just filled ... Read More...
2006 Pilot EX Gas Mileage on a new engine
I recently bought (12/15/07) a certified 2006 Pilot EX. with 32K miles. The dealer informed me the previous owner blew the engine and traded it in for a new model. Honda replaced the damaged engine with a brand new engine, which had 200 miles on it when I purchased it. The gas mileage I am getting is nothing close to Honda's claims or what I see in the discussion board ... Read More...

I am sure there are alot more Honda Pilots out there with the very ... Read More...

Help an idiot...
I am currently looking at 2005 and 2006 Honda Pilots to buy. Somehow, I am getting different info from every dealer I talk to. I want Four Wheel Drive. I see Pilots on the street that have "4WD" designated on the left or right of rear door. Some dealers tell me "they're all 4WD" some dealers tell me "you don't need 4WD because they have "all wheel drive" on every one." ... Read More...
Hydraulic Actuator Solenoid Lockout
Hi everyone - I have a 2006 Pilot with the dealer installed tow package. I will be towing a boat and trailer weighing around 2800-3000 lbs. The electrical connection at present is a 'four-flat'. One male ground and three female power for lights, turn signals, brakelights, etc. The surge brake actuator on the boat trailer comes with a solenoid lockout that, when ... Read More...
