Review

Lots of power, sensitive acceleration, seating very comfortable, good vision on dash panel, needs clearence between console and seat, cannot retreave nothing in between, little chrome or pinstriping would spiffy it up a little more.fun to drive and no problems.

Suggested Improvements

head rest non adjustable create to much space between your head and rest support, first SUV I ever owned with non adjustable head rest, I call it an engineer flaw

Review

I have had the suv for 9 months and love it. I haven't had any trouble with it. I feel that I got a great car for a good price. I wish the exterior was a little more "trendy" and that it drove smoother, but overall, I'm very pleased. I know I will be driving this car for many years because I can rely on the quality and dependability.

Suggested Improvements

I wish it drove smoother, and looked sporter. It's hard to get in and out of the third seat. "Stuff" falls down beside the front seats and you can't get it out.

Review

Going from a 91 civic to this of course was a huge step up. This is a great SUV. It took everything we gave it on the test drive, went over 90 mph and took it semi-off road, for a non- off road SUV, it did pretty good. The heated seats are great. But i love most that you can feel the power behind it. Some SUV's i tested couldnt get out of their own way.

Favorite Features

Ability to move! Heated seats. Size. Gas mileage isnt bad for as big as it is. Smooth ride going 5 or 80+!

Suggested Improvements

Wish list: 1. The back hatch made so you dont have to slam it, like 4- runner. 2. Increase towing capacity, you would think it could tow more. Electric seat control & back heat on passenger side, 3. Driver side memory control. 4. Include running boards and/or tow package. 5. Msg/info display like BMW

Review

Is a dependable, well-built vehicle. Can feel the safety in driving the car. Is a heavy vehicle and feels like it can sustain the normal fender-benders. Very comfortable to drive, good pick-up and driver control. Turning radius better than expected. Would recommend to others.

Favorite Features

Like the design of the car and control in driving. Also enjoy the controls on the steering wheel and climate control.

Suggested Improvements

Duplication of CD inserts. Have single CD at top of dash and built-in multiple CD player at bottom of mid-dash. Miss not having external temp and compass on rear-view mirror. Some what cramped in second seat, very cramped in seats for 6th and 7th passsengers.

Have now had our Pilot for one year. Its been a pleasure to own and drive. We have taken a couple of long trips (Maine to Ohio and back, Maine to PA and back) and have always exceeded the EPA highway mileage of 22 mpg. We get 18 city and 24 highway.

Favorite Features

Honda reputation and reliability. Great service from our dealer. Fun to drive even in New England winter

Have had 2005 Pilot for a few months now. I have not been able to get above 15.5 mpg around town; 18-19 on hwy. I am very disappointed in the mileage and would not recommend this vehicle. We got the vehicle for the Honda reputation. My big SUV gets better mileage than this and with more creature comforts. Vehicle is peppy and gets in/out of traffic well.

Better gas mileage; passenger front seat, same as driver's; armrests in front; Trip/mileage/gas meter; fog lights; daytime running lights; more options and colors to choose from.

I've had my Pilot for almost 6 months now and I love it!! The storage is great...drink holders for everyone too! The seat warmers are great. Has great "get up and go" and very easy to handle when driving. Smooth and quiet. I absolutely love my car and am so glad I have it!!

Seat warmers, DVD player....oh who am I kidding? I love everything!

Suggested Improvements

The DVD player was a little hard to figure out from the front seat at first (or maybe it was just me), but I've got it down now.

I find the Honda Pilot to be an excellent quality vehicle. It's interior design gives the driver and passengers exceptional comfort and room. It is a true eight passenger vehicle and affords comfort for all even when loaded to capacity. The Honda Pilot handles well both around town and on the highway. One only needs to sit in the vehicle and close the door to experience the solid workmanship.

My entire family has enjoyed our 2005 Honda Pilot. The high safety ratings are a must for us. We owned a Honda Odyssey prior to this vehicle. It was totaled when a semi 18 wheeler slammed into the rear end of us. With the protection we had during the accident, I think I will always buy a Honda. We were skeptical about the Pilot at first but we have not regretted it for a moment. During our vehicle shopping experience we drove several SUV's, including the Mercedes. None of the others compaired to the Pilot. My fourteen year old daughter is hoping she will be handed the keys when she gets her licenses in a couple of years. So..... it must be pretty cool to teenagers too.

I have had my Pilot for over a year now and it still runs as well as it did when I first bought. I love the way it handles. The AWD is great and it makes me feel so much safer. I've driven other SUVs and the Pilot is by far, my favorite. My niece even went out to get herself one after taking mine out for a test drive.

Favorite Features

The DVD player is a life-saver. My three-years old son couldn't be happier even after a four-hour trip. The folding backseats are so convenient since I carry a lot of big loads.
