Glad we chose Odyssey over Sienna

Review
Our 2001 Chrysler T&C tranny died, so we shopped for a new vehicle. We test drove and thoroughly inspected the Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna and were open to buying either. While we loved the roominess, front seats, ease of steering and quick acceleration in the Sienna. We liked the ease of use, electronics layout and smarter features on the Odyssey better. Both are excellent cars. Sienna is roomier but hard to figure out the controls on the tiny screen and to move the 2nd row seats - 3rd row is cramped for adults. The Odyssey has good use of space and better electronics layout, easier to operate seats and gadgets, and seems sportier to drive on the Odyssey. Love our new 2014 Odyssey.
Favorite Features
We love the huge 8 inch information and backup camera screen; 8 inch touchscreen audio system with bluetooth, usb and aux inputs; comfortable front seats, easy to operate middle seats that move back and forth and tilt; the middle row has a completely removable center seat that allows you to push together the center seats when removed, tilting back seats that effortlessly flip and stow in the back of the van, logically laid out electronic controls like a cockpit with everything at easy reach and sight line for the driver, and the cool box is great for storing water and soda for trips; tritone color - darker dashboard, gray tint to tan seats to hide dirt and darker mats and rug to hide dirt.
Suggested Improvements
The only improvements we would suggest would be get rid of that huge back box for the satellite radio and navigation behind the rear view mirror for vans without navigation; fix the shape of the center window/door trim on the sliding door to have a straight, clean line instead of the bump up, allow customers to turn beeping confirmation sounds for back hatch when manual opening - there are two loud beeps, one quiet one is enough, allow the customer to program volume of confirmation beeps for those with sensitive ears. We would have liked it if roof rack and rails and backup sensors were standard and installed at the factory and not an add on. Other than those small items, we love the van.
