When you're test drive a 2013 or 2014, make sure you pay close attention to the wind noise and road noise.
It's a design flaw that you can hear outside wind noise when driving above 60mph.
You might not able to hear your kid from the second row with the wind noise.
Regretting on my purchase
Improvement on wind noise, road noise, remote starter to be build in the same key, stronger AC system, more customizable USB mp3 playlist.
I agree with kelvestto, I have just bought a 2014 Ex Odyssey and it's generally a good van, but above 60mph the wind noise is excessive and noise cancelling headphones really help, a pity for an otherwise good $30k family van.
I also agree with kelvestto and familydriver2 on the wind noise above 60mph. At lower speeds, high winds will also produce excessive noise. Add the rattles in the side doors and road noise, it is a surprisingly noise van - much more so than the 1992 Toyota Previa that I sold to buy this Honda Odyssey in 2013.
