I bought my 2013 Honda Odyssey early February. At around the last week of February (about 650 miles driven) there was evidence of transmission fluid leak on my garage floor. Brought the minivan at the dealership for the first month courtesy check. The dealership confirmed that the leak was due to a washer in the transmission pan and fixed it. On the first week of April I took the minivan for ... Read More
If you look through the thread you will find link to the service bulletin which identifies the problem. If your VIN starts with 5FN you have one of the problem vans. They extended warranty to 2011 and as you will see many on here have experienced Honda not honoring it because it is obviously 2013. The only saving grace I think we have is that we encountered problems in late 2008 ... Read More
When looking at a Toyota or Chrysler vs. Honda, please be advised of the oil consumption issue that has led to a class action suit in October 2013 with details at http://settlement-claims.com/enginemisfire/. Got Ex for $27, 800 + dealer fee + Tax + Tag + Title in Tampa, FL. Also got .9 % 36 months financing from Honda. Came with dealer installed options: Nitrogen Filled Tires, Pin Stripes, Wheel locks, Cargo Tray. 2014 Ex is nice and has more new features, but not worth extra $3000 plus as dealers are not negotiating much for 2014.

After asking for price quotes on 2013 model, I decided to go with 2014 model instead as most of dealers were asking for around $30,500 - $30,700 for 2013 EX-L. Price seems to be higher in Pacific NW compared to other parts of country. One dealer came back and told me that it only sold 2014 Odyssey at sticker price only. $27,150(including $830 destination fee and other dealer processing fees) + $1629 Maryland tax + $376 tags/registration = around $29,150 What do you think? Thanks!
It sounds like a good deal, but hard to know because every state has different taxes and fees. Can you breakdown the price of the van and then all the fees separately? Invoice price on a 13 EX is $29,993 and there is at least $1500 in incentives right now on the Odyssey in addition to .09% financing.
yes, have to finance with them. in fact, I do plan to finance, and 0.9% is not bad. What do you think about the price as $29,150 out-the-door(Maryland)?

Lowest quote so far for a 2013 Honda Odyssey EX-L w/ NAV is $33450 (includes destination charge) Is this a good deal? Its the end of the month so I'm expecting a lil bit more room to bargain; Would ideally like to get this down to the 32500-33000 range.
Good for you...congratulations.....soon you'll realize that you made the right decision ...just maintain your van and drive it the right way...when i bought my 2001 pontiac montana se ext in 2001 the reviews made by edmunds as compared to that of odyssey and previa (sienna) was not good but fortunately my montana had passed the test of time now at 250,000 km (156,250 mi) with the same never been repaired 3.4 ... $34,493 is the invoice price of the minivan including destination: http://www.truecar.com/prices-new/honda/odyssey-pricing/2013/1BE8888F/ At $32,170 you are essentially getting the vehicle for $2323 under invoice which is a good deal on this vehicle. Tell them you know someone who got that deal and you would like to get the same one. The next best quote I had was from Honda East 529 Ohio Pike Cincinnati, OH 45255 which was $33,000 OTD no accessories. Where ever you go you have to let them know that you are getting a competitive price else where and will they match the price that you are offering. Keep at ... Read More
Davemustaine, I am also looking for similar deal and when I approached Sam swope, they are only willing to sell the van at that price but no accessaries. I am from Kentucky and also tried Don jacobs Lexington. Any suggestions on how to get the accessaries included in the deal? Sounds like a great deal out of the door with accessaries at $33500.
Honda Care price is high. A quick search of the forums for dealers that sell these to you over the phone. I think Saccucci is one of them. Sometimes dealer will match the price but most often won't. Same Hondacare program so theres no downside. Enjoy your savings.............................
Ramt: if possible can you share the invoice. You can gray out the name etc. I am getting the best price till now as 35600 OTD EVen from open road
I think HondaCare is a great value, any other extended warranty is suspect. If I recall I paid slightly less than your quoted number for the warranty and I got 120k on a touring elite which with more bells and whistles should cost more although I have no basis for that beyond common sense. So, if it is HondaCare the price is not terrible.
