I chose this minivan over an SUV after much begging from my wife, who liked the space, practicality and fuel efficiency. I regret the purchase. Car has lots of space, but the 5-speed models still have lots of road noise. Car is fuel efficient but not much better than SUV considering this is a 2 wd. VCM spends too much time fumbling with how many cylinders you need, which results in an unpleasant drive and a lack of confidence in the car's ability to accelerate at times. 3rd row access is just as bad as in an suv especially when you have car seats in the 2nd row. Honda technology/electronics are not as intuitive or impressive as in cars like the Flex. SUV with a roof rack is a good alternative
Drives like a smaller car and has good turning circle. Seats are easy to fold. Braking seems solid.
Option to shut off VCM Less road noise more horsepower, as acceleration is not acceptable sell all models with the 6-speed transmission -- Toyota already does it Give customers the option to have both nav and dvd in models below touring
I love VCM.
I was able to get 32mpg on a recent road trip to PA, on hi-ways and no traffic.
For a minivan of this size, 32 mpg is impressive and can only achieved by VCM technology which shutoff 3 cycl to save gas when cruising.
That being said, I'm still regret the purchase of this car since I need to reboot the Rear Entertainment (RE) system three times in last month--see my review on this forum.
I'm glad you don't have that issue and I hope you won't.
