Somewhere in the $24 to $25K area. It is two years old. Maybe worth a little more if Honda Certified. I got a price on a 2010 Toyota Sienna with leather, moonroof, DVD and NAV (EVP#4) for $32228 plus TTL. $30,500 is way high IMO for 2008 used. Read More...

I bought the VAN last year. have 22K miles on it. After my recent oil change my VAN started shaking at different speed. I came to find out that there was a recall on the car and they updated some software during my recent visit which caused my van to shake. I just called to complain about the issue and now they are saying they need to replace torque converter..... guys ... Read More...

I also have owned other Hondas but this 2007 Odyssey is the last Honda I will touch. Brake rotors had to be replaced at 20K miles. Torque converter replaced a few weeks ago. Battery replaced at 30K. Power sliding door stopped working and took three visits to fix. Rough ride, hard shifts and and noises that can't be replicated or fixed. My model also has the PAX tires ... Read More...

I'm considering buying a used 2008 Honda Odyssey. The current owner has told me that he's heard grining in the brakes when he really gets on them but that he doens't think its anything to be alarmed about. Is that the ABS or should I be concerned? Also, these spongy pedal comments have me a little concerned to say the least....on the other hand I've always owned Hondas ... Read More...

I have the same problems with the torque converter and here is what i found on the service bulletins god know what else is broke. Did you show all these bulletins and asked them to do them? My dealer told me this. Here's my message from Sep 22, 2008: "Hi, I just got my van back from the dealer as they did TSB 08-071. My service adviser said that it is the same part number as the old one, in my case P/N 30530-P8F-A01 for an '07. But he said that the knock sensor is attached to the engine via a machine during engine assembly, instead of by hand and apparently ... Read More...

Candyman---I've done a decent bit of research on this in the past few weeks. I'm not a mechanic by any means but the technicians with whom I've spoken have indicated that a clogged/dirty EGR valve can generate a shudder that is VERY similar to the early signs of a torque converter failure.
