After weeks of test driving mini-vans,
the choice was clear. The Honda Odyssey
was the best hands down. I can't truly
say that there was even a close second.
The Odyssey won us over with its sleek
styling and top rated performance. Byh
far, It was the most luxurious,
comfortable van in the field.
Sliding duel side doors, fold down rear
seat and easily adjustable front seats.
I have only two suggestions for
improvement. I think the poweer
steering could be a bit smoother and I
wish the emergency brake was in a
I owned a Plymouth Voyager and have
driven a Ford Windstar. Neither
compares to the quality and ride of the
Odyssey. It's solid and tight. The ride
is great! The features are top notch! I
never thought I would buy a "foreign"
car, but in comparison to the American
models, it's Honda the clear winner!
you won't be disappointed!
The mini table between the front driver
and passenger seat. The power mid doors.
The cargo cover could be improved.
Honda should follow Subaru's cover
design in having it pull out from the
back and attaching to the back. Getting
the cargo cover in and out is somewhat
This vehicle is a joy to drive. It
hugs the road when driving around
corners, off exit ramps, etc., turns
practically on a dime, handles very
well. The power is apparent as it
easily speeds up in the pass zone.
Ride is very smooth. I love the ease
in configuring the interior. The
center captain's chairs are simply
removed and the rear seat folds right
into the floor. The twin side doors
are powered to slide open with your
remote key fob and are a real help, the
entertainment system is phenomenal.
This is a very nice vehicle, very
functional, very fun to drive.
I would add "power" to the rear
hatch/door in the back to facilitate
the shopper in depositing groceries,
etc. into the cargo area without having
to manage with a free arm to open it.
