Well, I'm surprised that the balancing or new tires didn't solve the problem. Other items involved could be the half-shafts that drive the wheels, a u-joint (but I'd think you'd hear clunking) a bad shaft boot, or yes, even a bad strut. hi all, just bought a used 2000 honda odyssey LX and felt standard vibration issues at 40-45 mph if the tire air pressure is 33. Increased the tire air pressure to 50 and now vibrations occur at 68-80 mph. I read all these posts in this forum and it is very helpful discussion. Has anyone had trouble with a 2000 Honda Odyssey intermittently not starting after a short trip of 2 or 3 miles and the engine being off for 2 to 5 minutes? I'm afraid I wouldn't be of much help. The transmission on my 2000 Odyssey failed the day after I posted here; I didn't really have any warning, other than that the TCS light had lit up the day I posted here. Hi all, Just want to warn my 2005 Sienna XLE has 70,000 miles and I am looking at a slew of repairs right now. Just paid $800 to "replace locking assembly" in passenger sliding door and they informed me that a "Transfer Case Seal" has failed and quoted me a $2000 charge to fix that. Erick, this is silly, but it turned out to be the alternator. Apparently, the alternator was not generating any juice, so that battery was low. When it because so low, the AC shut off. Somehow, the next day, all was back to normal, until 3 days later when I got stranded on the road. I took it to a local shop, and they replace the alternator. No more problems after that. ... letmedoit, My 2004 Odyssey is having similar problems. Compressor turns on when A/C is turned on and blows cold for about 5 minutes. Then the compressor kicks on and off continually and doesn't produce any cooling. This A/C hasn't been charged or worked on since the last charge in 2007 because it has good pressure (30-35 psi low side pressure) while running and ... Read More...

I have a 2000 Honda Odyssey, transmission started clunking at 124,000 miles. Although out of the 80,000 miles limit,Honda paid $2000 out of a $3,000 bill as goodwill that was in 2005 On the highway it had a catastrophic failure, the transmission failed completely, with smoke pouring out of the engine compartment.
