    Thanks Phx70 - the fan works fine and it blows pretty much outside air at that temperature. When I crank up the temperature, it does not heat up, when I lower it all the way to 60 (in auto mode) it does not kick in the AC. Would appreciate a link to any info. -Duke

    If your fan is not blowing, you will not feel any A.C. Or little heat. If your fan motor will not work on AUTO, but will turn on when maxing out the fan knob, it is most likely the transistor assembly. The part number is listed in these forums. If that is not the case, there are some fuses and relays located in the engine compartment...good luck!

    1. 2X on 2000 Odyssey - 90k & 100k sold at 155k with clunking gears 2. 1X on 2003 Accord EXV6 - 58k sold at 65k 3. Currently having torque converter failure on 2006 Odyssey started around 55k miles. Personally, our family is finished with Honda V6 products. The 4-cylinder models like Civic, CRV, and 4-cyl Accords are very reliable. Our next van is Sienna...maybe mid-model change in 2013?

    Google is your friend: P0740 - Torque Converter Clutch Circuit P0420 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold P1456 - Manufacture Control Auxiliary Emission Controls Basically transmission, catalytic converter and other emission issues.     Saccucci only offers Honda Care. So if you purchased Honda Care at your dealership you paid $2000 more for the exact coverage Saccucci offers. The most expensive plan for an Odyssey is under $1400. So if you want to save $2000, you should cancel.

    If you look at customers' reports [reliability dots] on Cconsumer Reports 2003-2006 and 2008-2010 had best reliability in transmissions for the Odyssey. 2007 is bad news. You need to read more on Edmunds.com & OdyClub on what members have to say. I trust Consumer Reports more than any other magazine because they purchase vehicles where the dealers do not know that they are Consumer Report people.

    I'm in San Diego an received a quote of $32,379.00 which included the $1000.00 Honda to Dealer incentive, but was not a true OTD quote. This was on a quote for a lease, so if your buying, you can probably get it pretty close to $32000 OTD. The Honda to dealer incentive for buying is $2000.00.

    Thanks for the input. The $2000 is just a low ball figure and a starting point in the negotiations. The true invoice price should be higher then low ball price, and I think the target ends up being just higher then the true invoice. I am going to e-mail all the honda dealerships in the area and see what I come up with, then I will worry about the trade.

    Sorry we don't have the breakdown. The dealer took $2000+3% hold back from Invoice and reached price of $278xx. Then they knocked down another $4xx to match our EX deal, so there wasn't a break down for the EXL. Also the GM (Stacey) took the paper with the numbers and said he couldn't give the piece of paper to us.

    You are correct--Seattle is a challenging market for Odyssey buyers. The term "over his cost" is pretty vague. Does that include any holdback that Honda pays the dealer?
