When I first purchased the Honda
Insight, it was for the uniqueness of
the hybrid drive system combined with
the uncompromised design. After driving
the car I was astounded at how well it
handled, and how fun it was to drive.
One of my other cars is a Lotus and I
consider the Insight's handling to be
on par with it. With all the
sophisticated instrumentation, a driver
is aware at any moment just how
efficiently they are driving. That
makes driving a lot more fun.
The efficiency of this vehicle is
unequalled by any other production
vehicle ever. One day more efficient
vehciles will be built, but for now the
Insight is a world champion. The highly
sophisticated aluminum chassis and body
put this car in class by itself.
I'd like the car to run in an "electric
only" mode. A larger battery pack and
the ability to plug in to charge.
Another nice addition would be a small
turbo charger, perhaps even assisted by
the battery. Turbocharging would
enhance the performance of this already
