A Tardis you know but with Panache!

2015 Honda Fit LX 4dr Hatchback (1.5L 4cyl CVT)
Purchased for daughter. Test drove the LX having got out of a BMW 335xi so thought it would feel slow and unresponsive. Hot day but the AC caught up quite quickly. Loved the ride as cushioned the pot holes everywhere. Took it 360 around a small round about. Nice enough feedback from the steering wheel. Sure footed with the 15 inch tires screaming all the way around but held like glue and controlled nicely. CVT was a nice surprise as I'd read bad reports about the belt driven cone! Takes off nice and smooth but let off the gas and it takes time to slow as there are no cogs to help brake. Different but nice, not sure on brake wear though! Loved the car as its spunky, safe with fun factor!
Tardis like space, does not feel like you're in a little tin box. Great MPG. Before I test drove I read that Honda had redesigned the Fit 2015
to get 5 star on all the IIHS crash tests. Now very safe. Not sure if the CVT is good or just different, time will tell but great ride overall. Smooth and fun drive. Reverse camera could be useful with kids around! Normal vision is superb. Nicer materials than expected, although a strange mix. I got the basic with CVT but it still had bluetooth which downloads music as well as keeping you hands free for the cell call. This means you keep your phone charging in the arm rest out the way and no cables. Controlled from the steering wheel.
Key on LX is still the normal key with buttons to open on the key handle. Strange would of thought it would be at least a flick type. Just seems old! Super screen with great buttons (not on EX up) leather looking glove box. Nice instrument cluster with nice designs all in a cheap looking gray plastic, that needs to be upgrated.
