I live in So. Cal. and did all and more that you are doing now, but I did it last year for the 2007 Fit. I ended up finally just accepting that I couldn't get any of the dealers down and couldn't match any of the "OTD" prices that were bragged about on this site. I had a HORRIBLE experience. I am going to have to agree with isell. I just "booked out" a used 2007 Fit Sport A/T with 12K on it here in edmunds. According to edmunds, this car used sells for $16609.00! KBB has the same used car at $17815.00 (wow!) and NADA has the car at $16275.00. Regarding used high MPG cars... I'm seeing '07 Fits with 20k+ miles listing for more than new '08 Fits. What gives? Is this purely to haggle down to the "real" price? get the Honda..the hyundai might cost just a $1,000 less...but in the long run the Honda is a much better value. Honda has the best resale value of any car company..and few years down the line if you want to trade it in or sell it, the Honda will be worth so much more than the hyundai..they have one of the worst resale values..even though they build great cars check out ... What is my actual speed when the speedometer says 30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100 and whats the difference between my actual traveled distance and what the odometer says or is the difference so small its not worth noting? A couple of years after getting our 03 Pilot the mileage dropped about 20% for no apparent reason. Someone on the Pilot Real world MPG forum mentioned the ILP and how it had helped their mileage.
