Check engine warning light
Greetings! My Check engine warning light on my 2007 Honda Fit Sport (95,000 miles) flashed repeatedly on my way to work this morning. I'm afraid to drive it. It began running rough last week, so had the plugs replaced, and it was better for a few days. Now, running rough again, and I have a flashing engine light. suggestions? If I drive this, will I blow the engine? Help! thanks!

The headlights don't go on automatically, and they do not shut off automatically on the '09 Fit. What yo see when you start the car is DRL's (daylight running lamps), and they can be disabled by pulling fuse location #15. Disabling the DRL's this way will not throw any codes (check engine light will not come on).

get the Honda..the hyundai might cost just a $1,000 less...but in the long run the Honda is a much better value. I drive a 2007 Honda Fit Sport that comes stock with size 195/55/15 tires. I have changed those for size 205/55/16. What is my actual speed when the speedometer says 30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100 and whats the difference between my actual traveled distance and what the odometer says or is the difference so small its not worth noting?

I was performing a spring cleaning on my 2007 Fit and noticed that there is considerable dried salt brine around the rear seat belt lugs/bolts and a rivulet down to the floor. I read on http://tophondanews.blogspot.com/2007/12/2009-honda-fit.html that the 2009 with the 1.3 liter engine and CVT transmission gets 56 MPG, and the 1.5 get 46 (the article quoted litres per 100 kilometer,and I converted them).
