Re: Towing with a Honda Element [tmeidi]
2007 EX Manual, 4wd. I've towed my 5 x 10 aluminum trailer with a TroyBuilt 6.5 hp chipper shredder on it at 60 mph. I tow that 100 miles each way with no problems at all. I have towed my 670 pound motorcycle for short hauls easily and I loaded my Triumph Spitfire (1500lb sports car) on that trailer and hauled it 40 miles at interstate speeds. That was not a good idea. It ... Read More...

Re: Fit vs. Element [roszelj]
Hello. I have a 2007 Honda Element EX 4WD. I have had my Element for over a year now too. I was considering the Fit before I bought my Element, I'm very happy with my decision. I would have liked the MPG's of the Fit (27city / 30 combined / 34 highway), rather than the Element's (19city/ 21combined/ 24highway) I normally get 25MPG, but that is great for a 3661lb 4WD SUV. ... New Stereo
I'm looking into getting a Pioneer AVIC-D3 DVD Navigation Receiver for my 2007 Honda Element EX 4WD. Does anyone know why Crutchfield would say that the "factory subwoofer and/or sub amplifier will be lost." If that is true is there a way that it would work? Also, would I need to get all new speaker for this receiver or would the Element's factory speakers be enough? ... Read More...

Re: 2004 Honda Element Stalling Problem [willmd]
My son has a 2007 Element EX which has stalled twice on turns. It starts right back up, I understand. Car has about 15 thousand miles on it. We're taking it back to the dealer this weekend. My point: Did you ever discover what was causing this problem? Is your car still doing it? Anything you can tell me/us will certainly help as we make a one-hour trip to the dealer and ... Camping
I have gone camping in my 2007 Honda Element EX 4WD numerous times. I leave the seats in the back though and form the bed with all the seats down in the reclining position. It is not the most comfortable bed in the world but it is great for camping. I have taken several friends with me at different times and they loved sleeping in it. That is also one of the reasons I bought ... Read More...
January MPG
During the month of January I got HORRIBLE MPG! I have a 2007 Honda Element EX 4WD and I only got 17-18 MPG. I usually get about 24-27. This month I got around 26. Anyone know why I could have gotten that bad of milage? Anyone else with this problem? I drove exactly as I do all the time and no new situations so I can not come up with a reason. Thank you for any help. Read More...
