Honda Element Prices Paid and Buying Experience
Price for new Element in Delaware.
I just bought a Honda Element EX 2004, Side airbags, Manual. With 6 Year / 100,000 mile warranty for the total of about $21,200 with tax & tags & a cargo net. The MSRP for the warranty is around 1100, but I was able to get it for 850. Read More...

question
Hi, I have a question to all experienced Honda buyers out here. What in your opinion based on previous years of dealing with Honda is the best time to buy Element? Now - when Honda is offering 3.9% (ending 12/5/04) but Element 2004 is not on the dealers lot yet. Or wait month or two? How low the price may drop after its arrival? Couple hundreds or thousand? The matter ... Read More...
OK Paul
Know how you feel, I got no response to my inquiry on another board about dealer pricing. Anyway, what is the advantage of buying a 2004 Element EX if 2003 Element EXs are still around and discounted below invoice? The information on the honda site is not clear. Thanks. Read More...
Hondas Web pages now updated to include 2004
HondaCars.com has updated their web pages to include the 2004. I'm curious as to why the Facts Sheet doesn't include the new LX trim level. However, the Element Page has a Javascript pop up which explains the new LX trim level. (i.e. LX is DX plus air cond and stereo systems) Read More...
2004?
Anyone know when/whether Honda will release a 2004 Element? Thinking of buying, but may wait until the '04s are out to get a better deal on an '03. I see that many dealers are already marking them down quite a bit, perhaps in anticipation of release of the '04. Also, anyone know what (if any) differences the '04 will have? Sorry if these questions have already been ... Read More...

So now we have PB2.0, aka 2004_element. Can we get the new one to use some paragraphs to make the posts a little easier to read? :o) varmint must have ESP, and I don't mean Electronic Stability Program. I test drove a 2003 Vue, and also one of the newer CR-Vs, and much preferred the Honda. Saturn did improve the interiors for 2004, plus they now use a Honda 3.5l V6 engine. ... Read More...
RE:...Can't decide..
My bad...after living in the Honda Element specs/reviews for a year, I started researching the new 2004 Acura TL and spaced on the fact that you don't get the Moonroof with the FWD EX 8-) So it looks like a no-brainer then, get the AWD EX... You just have to decide on the color, I myself like the GG.. -mike- Read More...
mtngal -- I live in Wiesbaden!
So I don't expect to be driving through snow as often as on wet roads and/or icy roads. But I do have a somewhat steep road to climb to get to my house, lined with cars on both sides--I don't want to slide into anyone in my new Element! Of course, over here, the roads are cleaned pretty quickly, and the car I have right now, a 15-year-old Opel Kadett hatch (FWD), has not ... Read More...
2004 Element
Hi gang, Re: next year's Element, I called the toll free "(800) 33-HONDA" number yesterday. They said that based on info they've had since July, that the DX should stay the same. As for the EX, keyless remote and passenger side armrest will be added. I think another item was mentioned---I think new interior plastic for the "A" pillar? (I actually called to find ...
