I have contacted eight local dealers for their internet quotes and so far the lowest I get for out of door price is >$24500. I know it is not a good purchase time comparing to this July. My wife and I are relocating to the western ny region and need a car for the first time (city folk!). We are pretty much sold on the CR-V and need to buy as soon as we move (next week!) so we cant wait for the '10s. Some info - looking for an 09 or used 07, 08 would like the EX trim awd, no leather needed. For heads up, just bought 2009 CRV 2WD LX $21500 OTD at Phoenix, AZ, Earnhardt Honda. I think it is an OK deal. Wasted 2.5 hrs at another dealer at Superstition Springs, since the internet sales manager called me and said he could beat the $21500, but after I got there, he said we misunderstood him, he said he could beat $22500. If a dealership runs out of 2009 CR-V, can they still order any from factory at this time? Honda usually stops current year production in July. Then retools for the new year and starts new model year production in August. New model year vehicles are usually get to the dealer's lots by the middle of September. main problem with 2010 model any where they will sell for 1200-1500 above invoice until end of december time and u guys can see how price changes from on truecar.com......on graph and i am in market for 2010 honda odessy but price is almost 1200 higher than invoice price..asking best price 28500.....2009 was 26750 and no negotiation on new model.... thanks hp Read More...

I am planning on buying a CR-V EX-L w/o Nav. I spoke to a salesperson at Coral Springs Honda who wanted $6K down and 400.00 per month for lease and 7.8K down and 400.00 per month to buy. Just purchased a 2009 CR-V EXL w/o Navi for 26,800 out the door (tax, tag transfer, etc included). Actually it came to 25,800 since they gave me $1000 for my trade in. Also had them include mud flaps and spoiler in the same price. Got clobbered on the extended warranty so I'm going back tomorrow to cancel it and shop around for something better. My 2003 Honda was purchased in June of the same year. In the summer of 2005 at 36,000 miles, the a/c system blew up sending metal shards all throughout the hoses in the vehicle and rendering them replaceable. Fortunately, I had purchased the extended warranty and only had to pay a $50.00 deductible, but Honda did try to get me to pay for the damaged hoses, I didn't. ... Read More...

Check e-bay. The one I saw was (ridiculously) expensive and note the modifications required for first time install. I have an EX model with the cargo shelf. It is turned upside down (hard vinyl up) and lies on the floor.
