The best Honda yet
Vehicle
2007 Honda CR-V LX 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
Review
The new CR-V is a pleasure to own as well as drive. I've owned it for over a year and still look forward to driving it. I get up to 32 mpg on the highway.
Favorite Features
MPG, smooth for a small SUV, lots of room even in the back seat
Suggested Improvements
Fold flat rear seats
Nice for a smaller SUV

2007 Honda CR-V EX 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
Review
I have enjoyed it over the past year. It rides well and has tight steering. Brakes are a bit sensitive. The only problem I have had is a burning rubber smell from the rear wheel well on the passenger side when driving through the mountains and have actually seen smoke once. I see others have had the same problem under different road conditions but know one knows why this happens.
Favorite Features
Hatchback and room for storage.
Suggested Improvements
More comfortable seats and an answer to the burning rubber smell near the exhaust.

Nice little SUV
Vehicle
2007 Honda CR-V EX-L 4dr SUV w/Navigation (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
Review
We bought this little guy to replace our 1992 Accord wagon (totaled from behind!), and it's been a pleasure driving it. The leather interior is very comfortable and of high quality. The only thing I'm *not* keen on is the lack of ability to "punch" the gas when you need a sudden acceleration (and in Miami, which has more idiot drivers per capita than most other cities, this is a *must*). You can give it a slow push and it will accelerate relatively well, but if you try to punch it, it just kind of dies. I guess that's what you get with a 4 cylinder engine: you trade a little bit of safety for fuel economy.
Favorite Features
Leather interior, backup camera, handsome exterior design. Pretty good fuel economy for a small SUV.
Suggested Improvements
Power tailgate please!!! This can't be so expensive that only the Lexus RX series and Acura MDX can afford to include it. Come on, Honda! If you add this feature, I'll buy one for myself, too. More color choices would be nice--especially some less conservative colors, as for the Fit.
Not crazy about CR-V
Vehicle
2007 Honda CR-V EX-L 4dr SUV AWD (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
Review
Both my wife and I are not thrilled with our CR-V. Mileage is poor 23 on highway or around town, seats not all that comfortable. Very uncomfortable on long trips, black stickers on door pillars peeling-rear differential was howling and had to have fluid changed (on going Honda problem) tires almost at wear indicators with 20,000 miles- we have had regular maintenance. Honestly we are considering getting rid of it and replacing with a RAV 4.
Favorite Features
nice radio(not very powerful). great rear door entry, AWD great feature
Suggested Improvements
Better design on seats, redesign of cup holders, maybe Michelin tires instead of Bridgestones. Why after many years of AWD CR-V's can't HONDA correct the design on the rear differential clutch packs, new cars should not make noises so soon.

Love my CR-V
Vehicle
2007 Honda CR-V EX-L 4dr SUV w/Navigation (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
Review
When it came time for me to buy a new car, my son talked me into test driving a Honda CR-V. I absolutely fell in love with it. For the price, it has more amenities than any other car I test drove (and I test drove lots of different cars). I have the LX- L model with the rear view camera, navigation system, and great stereo system. I am averaging 25 mpg this last year, city and highway combined. Around town, I usually get 21 mpg, but on the highway, I get as high as 31 mpg. This was also the best gas mileage posted on any car I drove. I cannot remember when I've enjoyed a car so much. One thing that impressed me overall was I was not exhausted after driving a long distance!
Favorite Features
Navigation System, Rear camera, and comfort. Also avg mpg
Suggested Improvements
If I had waited a year, I would have gotten the improvements I wanted: automatic driver's seat adjustment, dual air, etc.

Great Car!
Vehicle
2007 Honda CR-V EX-L 4dr SUV AWD (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
Review
I bought this car in 2007 and I've gotten nothing but compliments on the design. Smooth ride but weak power on acceleration/. My car mileage on highways is typically 28.1 mpg and 27.8 on city roads (based on 87 octane). Seats could be more comfortable as they are a bit stiff, esp for long distance driving. Love how the back door opens up, not sideways, like the RAV4. One of my complaints is that I have to turn off my front lights manually--does not turn off with the engine. Also when you drop anything between the 2 front seats-around the console, it's extremely difficult to find/retrieve whatever you dropped. Overall, it's a great-looking car with good gas mileage.
Favorite Features
Exterior design, AWD, fuel efficient, mp3/IPOD jack, stereo control buttons on the steering wheel, driver's seat height adjustment, actual mpg meter, comes with XM radio, outside temperature gauge, sunglass holder and conversation mirror.
Suggested Improvements
More comfortable seats, lights turn off automatically with engine, more horsepower with acceleration/passing on highways, and add lights to front mirror visors.

Luv it, Luv it, Luv it

When we went searching for a new car, I had my heart set on a '07 RAV4. Husband wanted me to look at a CR-V before my final decision. Glad I did! I'm happier with the fold down table in the middle of the front bucket seats. I'm glad the hatch swings up and not into traffic. I added the removable tray in the back which is a dream after a trip to the store, and the gas mileage is wonderful. I didn't have to change oil for the first time till it hit 8,000 miles! And yes it is true for us, the CR-V was 15% less to insure because it doesn't have the spare hanging on the back. I've driven it for a little over a year now, and cannot find one thing wrong. And I got the entry level AWD!
Favorite Features
Aux jack for MP3 player. Fold up hatch. Fold down tray. Quality interior. Styling of the body. And just about everything else about it!
Suggested Improvements
None to speak of at this time!
Not happy with my purchase
Vehicle
2007 Honda CR-V LX 4dr SUV AWD (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
Review
I have owned two Honda's before this purchase. This is the first CR-V. I am not happy with it and will replace as soon as possible. The interior is cheap, there are issues with the differential that I learned have been an issue for quote some time. Now with only 22,000 miles I have to replace all 4 tires. Never had any trouble with my Honda Accord's. Should have bought another one! Miles isn't as good as I thought either. Drove terrible in the snow and ice.
Favorite Features
NONE
Suggested Improvements
I believe a more comfortable interior material and design layout should be considered. Also, some attention should be given to fixing the rear differential problem once and for all.

Right Choice
Vehicle
2007 Honda CR-V EX-L 4dr SUV AWD w/Navigation (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
Review
I bought this car needing something with AWD and good fuel economy. I've moved to the country and the roads are, shall we say, challenging. This car has been a gem. It's beautiful and flawless on the roads I navigate through. We've had a tough winter with much rain which turns to mud on dirt roads. One morning going to work in the dark and much rain I turned on the dirt road only to discover it was flooded. I kept going through a torrent of water (yes I know you're not supposed to!) and this car never faltered for a moment. It was like it knew what to do and where the road was. I'm getting about 25 mpg and feel very safe both on paved and unpaved roads. This car is sturdy and nimble
Favorite Features
The XM radio is addictive and the sound system works great. I love the style and the smoothness of the ride. The interior is excellent and the pick up is more than adequate. Very happy with this car!
Suggested Improvements
Suggested improvements.. Only to have a bluetooth link capability for cell phone.

Somewhat better than the old CRV
Vehicle
2007 Honda CR-V EX 4dr SUV AWD (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
Review
I like the new Honda CR-V, and owned the previous model (2003). Unfortunately I think it looks like every other new crossover-they look like station wagons! I'm not impressed with the fuel economy. I also miss the table that you got with the older CR-V-it came in handy for tailgating. It rides well, and is comfortable for the most part. I wish the back seat was a few inches wider, then two adults could sit in the back with a car seat.
Favorite Features
Stereo buttons on steering wheel (volume, ability to switch stations, etc)
Suggested Improvements
The cargo shelf for the back does not fit right if you get the optional plastic cargo mats, and I miss my table
