I don't work for Honda, although I wish I did. There are a few changes I would make. Marketing would have to go to engineering school and get at least an associate degree in any sort of engineering. Hi I have a beautiful 1999 Honda CRV. I have had no issues but two. My clock no longer works and my automatic door locks don't work on my key fob. Now the weird thing is it is just when its warm. To answer this question: Are transmission coolers and larger brakes really available for the Gen 1 CR-V? I don't know for transmission coolers, but the 1997-2001 Honda CRV share the exact same front discs and pads has a 1998-2001 Acura Integra Type R. My 2002 also has severly clouded headlights. I noticed how bad it was recently when parked next to another similar year CR-V. The other car had nice clear glass on the headlights, but mine is very cloudy and dull. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so what can be done? Thanks, Paul Read More...

I bought a 1991 CRV for my grandson about 4 months ago. It has just under 60,000 miles. It was a Canadian's car who left it stored in Florida most of the time and only drove it when he came to Florida for the winter. It's In perfect condition except the transmission has started to slip or hesitate after setting at a stop light / sign for more than a minute or so. It doesn't ... Read More...

I use the dishwasher detergent to clean almost any stains that is hard to rub off. Try in a small corner first to see the result. It is the Cascade milky gel like. A green color bottle. Use a Q-Tip to put a thin layer and wait about 10 mins then hose it off with warm water. I can remove old tea stains on my sink easily with this method. Read More...
