After three Accords, dating back to 1994, my wife and I purchased our 2014 CRV.
My wife is the primary driver, and she loves the higher seating position.
Also, both of us find the vehicle to be very comfortable on long trips.
We've put on 4K miles in the first 2 months we've owned it.
The mileage isn't great as far as what is available in vehicles today, but for a new AWD vehicle, it gets in the high 20's.
Our best mileage was on a trip returning to Phoenix from Show Low, Arizona where we got 32.5 mpg, but it is mostly downhill.
Some reviewers find the 5 speed automatic to be outdated, but we have found that the unit works just fine in this application.
We love our CRV.
The seating position is perfect, and the seats are very comfortable for long drives.
This was not true of the last two Accords we owned.
The leather seats are very easy to keep clean.
We also like the navigation system, and the interface with the entertainment system as well.
Very easy to change between audio source.
Like the controls on the steering wheel very much as well.
The vehicle cruises at the speed limit with ease, wherever you're driving.
Yes, it may take a little longer to get to speed, but once there, it has no difficulty maintaining it, and still gives you adequate power to pass sanely.
We also love the overall appearance of our Basque Red CRV.
We do wish that the vehicle had a little more HP.
At 185 it could use a little more power, but there is nothing wrong with it as it is.
Since this is the top of the line CRV, we were also surprised that it did not have Homelink available at all.
Not a big deal, but at this price level, others have this kind of option available.
Would also like an option to disable the announcement that the phone is connected every time we get in the vehicle.
