After exhaustive research, there really wasn't much choice. We wanted better gas mileage than our old MPV minivan, good reliability, maximum safety (teen drivers coming soon), 4WD to get up to the ski area, and cargo area that was at least near the ballpark of the MPV. So far, it's been been a great all-around vehicle and has lived up to our high expectations.
Smooth performance, solid road feel (but see below), excellent build quality, lots of features for the money, and gas mileage that meets EPA figures.
More choice in interior colors. Didn't want black but ivory was too yellowish. Light grey would be better. Road noise is a bit high, especially in the back. The down side to the firm road feel is that you notice it when the pavement is rough or broken. Not a car for traveling salesmen.
