New SE CRV doesn't live up to hype. MPG rated 23/29. Haven't seen 23 even on flat west Texas highways. You can expect real MPG in teens. Ride and drive harsh. Hope the safety features are not over rated as well. Still worth the money for a SUV. Lot of vehicle for $20k. Bottom line - if MPG is a big issue, buy a car.
Great turning radius. Good urban vehicle. Back gates are easy to use. Rear seats have good leg space. SUV sitting positions. Excellent safety equipment - if they work as advertised!
MPG isn't close to rating (19 mpg) but it should reflect that on sticker. Needs little things - compass, outside temp, int lights that auto on, real rear vent, nice wheels, lumbar, electric rear mirror, running lights, etc.
2005 Honda CR-V SUV Special Edition AWD 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
We researched and browsed for about 8 mos. and kept coming back to the CRV. Even waited until the new Kia Sportage came out. We're retiring and always have had 2 vehicles, pickup/van and a sedan. Wanted to be able to have only one,all-purpose vehicle. The Honda CRV does just that. Good hauling capacity, plus nice ameneties. No vehcile is perfect, but this one comes close. What it lacks, we don't miss. Add to that the resale/trade-in value of Honda vehicles, and you can't go wrong.
Quality, solid build and feel, safety features, 5 spd auto, moon roof, leather AWD, cargo capacity for small SUV, drives and handles great. Also, cd, cassette, XM ready, and so comfortable. Great manueverability.
Some road noise, but "what the heck" with such a nice sound system, we don't care. So who drives without a CD or radio playing??
the car is above our expectations. our daughter has one and has loved it and it looks like new after 4 years. we love the manueverability and size. it is easy to park. we are musicians and can load and unload with ease.
We love that you can sit up high and the visibility. the comfort , and radio on the wheel is awesome.
wish there was more room in the drivers seat when entering the car. Once situated it is good.
The CRV is a very reliable vehicle which adjusts itself if you are changing lanes to avoid an accident. The vehicle gives a great ride in all conditions, like rain and ice streets. The driver seat is very well built to provide comfort to people in height ranging from 5'0 to 6'2. My family is enjoying our new CRV more than our new ENVOY. Thanks Honda for improving the CRV.
CD player and and the cargo cooler and table. The movable arm rest. The middle table which can be place down when not in use. The extra cup holders front and back. The back folding seats with adjustable headrest. The greatest favorite feature of all is the skid prove dash on passenger side.
I was very skeptical when we bough this vehicle, it was need more that desire. It has turned out to be a great vehicle, lots of room, easy to drive, comfortable front and back. the only ackward thing is the gear shift:it interferes all the time with the windshield wipers
Comfortable chaurs and easy to get in and out, good accelaration
change the pace of the gearshift, the floor is better. Also the tray between front chairrs could be smaller, I do not need to carry my entire household there
