Very versatile vehicle

Vehicle: 2005 Honda CR-V EX AWD 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 5A)

Bougth this car 6.5 years ago and now have 170,000 trouble free miles. Daughter has been driving this car for awhile and with this much mileage, i still have confidence in it to go cross country and back. Not all is good in the beginning since the dealer charged me over $1000 for some kind of paint sealant, it's crap it takes along time to buff it to shine. My 9 years old Odyssey didn't have it and with over 210,000 miles still looks good. The recommended tire pressure inflation is way too low for the weight of the vehicle at 29 PSI. With 29 PSI the mileage is at 20 city and 23 Hwy and obvious underinflation tire wear. Finally got dialed in at 36 PSI all around to get the 23/26.

Great vehicle

Excellent all around vehicle. Great around town, great on highway travel. Good gas mileage for all wheel drive.

Another disappointed honda customer

Vehicle: 2005 Honda CR-V EX AWD 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 5A)

4 years and 66,000 km needed a VSA replacement-very costly had to autosalvage it. Now material is peeling off doors on inside of cabin. I wish I had not sold my '98 Civic which was virtually problem free for this vehicle which I can not wait to unload.

Not a bad suv

Vehicle: 2005 Honda CR-V EX AWD 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 5A)

We purchased an EX in November of 04. WE had decent snow traction the first winter but this week, BLAH. Scary. The tires Bridgestone Duelers are horrible. My wife loves it but I think the seats need more support and they move to much. OK gas mileage but we expected more from a 4cyl. Performance is ok. It is a safe car with all the airbags and ABS etc. We had it in dealer last month for an alignment, now the steering wheel is off and it still pulls to the right. The door panels are thin and it is kinda noisy. A safe vehicle and reliable but we {ok, ME} expected a quieter more comfortable SUV from Honda.

Vehicle: 2005 Honda CR-V EX AWD 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 5A)

I am a former Civic owner and purchased my CRV last year and I love it! It handles so much better than my Civic and it's fun to drive. It is virtualy maintainence free with scheduled oil chnages every 5,000 miles or 6 months. I think that it's the best in its class.

This is a fun car to drive. Huggins Honda gave me a fair price and were not high pressure, and did not treat me in a sexist manner.
