2011 Honda Civic Hybrid 4dr Sedan (1.3L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

Just yesterday I finally got rid of my 2011 Civic Hybrid. I had it for 6 months and hated every minute of it. Some people are going to think Im nuts trading a Hybrid in with gas prices the way they are. But I just couldnt take that car anymore. I didnt want it in the first place but when I was at the dealership, and the salesman talking me into it, with the good deal I got, I decided to go for it. Well it made me nuts.

Favorite Features

Sporty feeling when you drive. Great turning circumference. Smooth ride. Nice interior.

Suggested Improvements

Here is my gripe: I hated the on/off way about it. It goes into 'auto stop' when you come to a stop. The engine shuts off so to speak. When you take your foot off the brake it engages again. And this with this irritating jerk, like as if you just popped a clutch or something, even though its automatic. When you want to 'edge' up little by little, its difficult to do as it constantly stops. With warm weather here and traffic jams, the AC turns off when you stop. Its just an irritating car in general. I love the Civic itself, but not the hybrid. So I hope this 2012 I got yesterday is going to fit the bill. I think it will. Its just not as sporty feeling to drive as its a bit larger I think
