I love my Honda
Vehicle
2007 Honda Civic EX 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 5A)
Review
I love my Honda! Its great for going on little adventures to far towns... The gas mileage is awesome...My 4 cly gets up and goes good and I LOVE MY NAVIGATION! I use it all the time! Its got me out of being lost many times LOL! Its a great car for people in the 18-30 range and not past 6 foot... The windshield is huge and its very aero dynamic which I seriously think it helps with better gas mileage but im not sure. I did have the defective sun visors and it stinks! Especially in sunny Arizona.
Favorite Features
Navigation, sound system and oh and don't let me forget one reason why i picked my car out... The SUNROOF! It also gives you a percentage of your oil level...
Suggested Improvements
Sun Visors, Put another pocket on the back of the drivers seat because there is only one on the passenger seat.
Great mileage

2007 Honda Civic Hybrid 4dr Sedan (1.3L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
Review
Traded Kia Sorrento during gas crunch... should have kept trade-in despite bad mileage. Honda is quite noisy all around & not at all comfortable on long drives. Getting in & out of car is a chore for taller(& older) people. Fuel economy(40-45 mpg) & acceleration are excellent. Switching back to SUV. I'd rather be comfortable & pay more for fuel. Civic hybrid makes a good commuter car.
Favorite Features
MPG, acceleration, quick steering response, visibility, decent sized trunk. Handles quite well in snow even without studs or chains.
Suggested Improvements
Rear seating, radio & road noise. Possibly the radio sounds better without the road noise. Raise the vehicle 6 inches, make it AWD & maintain 40 MPG.

2007 Honda Civic LX 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 5A)
Review
I bought this vehicle because I needed one - before kids. It's better if you don't have kids. All I can fit in the trunk is a stroller and a portable crib and not much else. The ride was ok at first, but it has gotten worse. Recently, the bars on the gas gauge go up and down. I have had to replace the sun visors because the heat split the plastic and wouldn't allow them to close. The radio a couple of times has gone out for a minute and then will come back on and once the car wouldn't turn over and nothing was wrong with it. The up and down shift is also not the greatest in the automatic. Sometimes I have to press the gas pedal all the way down to get up speed to get on the highway.
Favorite Features
I do love the look of the car on the outside and the inside. I love the digital speedometer and it's placement. The buttons on the dash are nice and it does have a lot of different little storage areas for things.

Going green has tradeoffs
Vehicle
2007 Honda Civic Hybrid 4dr Sedan w/Navi (1.3L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
Review
Do not buy this car if you are wanting a comfortable ride. I'm 6'1 250lbs. It is very hard to get in the driver seat. The steering wheel has to be all the way in the up position and the seat all the way back for me to slide in. The seats are very hard and uncomfortable. The parking brake handle is located where my knee stays on it while driving, this will make your knee start hurting in about 10 - 15 minutes. I had to put a small pillow next to the brake handle to make the pain somewhat tolerable. Road noise is loud, I mean LOUD. The BIGGEST problem I have experienced is the cupping that occurs on the back tires, see below in the suggested improvements.
Favorite Features
40-45 average gas mileage, Navigation is great, climate control is great.
Suggested Improvements
Back Tires cupping, Honda issued a re- call on this. The dealer has attempted to fix it twice now. The tires continue to wear and are extremely loud. Honda has purchased me 2 sets of back tires I'm currently on the 3rd set and they are now worn out. 3 sets of tires in 80,000 miles. I now plan to sell it.

Did not meet my expectations
Vehicle
2007 Honda Civic Si 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 6M)
Review
I want so badly to love this car, but I just can't quite do it for a few reasons. I traded in a 98 Prelude Sh and ordered this car from the factory as soon as I found out about its existence, but it's not the four door replacement for the Prelude that I'd hoped it would be. First, the transmission issue is incredibly frustrating. Second, the emergency brake jabs me in the knee. I know this issue may be limited to me, but it's not a good feeling when you purchase a brand new car and it makes you limp. Third, the build quality is not up to par with the other Hondas or Toyotas I've owned. It's a great looking and the performance is unparalleled for the price but it's not perfect.
Favorite Features
V-Tec! The Scream of an 8000 rpm redline. The smooth crisp handling. The un-killability of a Honda four-banger.
Suggested Improvements
Pretend the people purchasing your car will be over 5'10". Not sell cars with broken 3rd gear.
Honda is poor quality
Vehicle
2007 Honda Civic EX 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 5A)
Review
I have taken my car to dealer to replace the following since I leased it: 1. The battery. 2. The stereo, 3. Transmission torque converter. 4. Steering wheel peeling off. As you can see HONDA HAS DECLINED QUALITY lately and reliability is 0%. Plus dealer doesn't supply you with loan car.
Favorite Features
Shape, color, style.
Suggested Improvements
Definitely needs better quality of all mechanical components.

Look for something better
Vehicle
2007 Honda Civic LX 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 5M)
Review
Decent car but not worth the $. Poor radio, poor ride quality and extremely loud interior. I'm 6'-2" and fit comfortable in car. Ergonomics are good but the position of the e brake is bad and uncomfortable on leg. Good thing is I got 33 mpg average. On long highway rides, almost 38 mpg. I got sick of the road noise and harsh ride and traded this car in. You can get more car for the money. I traded mine in for a Legacy. For $2K more, you get all wheel drive, awesome radio, awesome ride.
Favorite Features
Fuel economy and ergonomics of inside car. Loved the small steering wheel and heads up display. Very modern interior.
Suggested Improvements
Insulation from outside noise. Better ride quality. Few more horses.

Very good, but not for everyone
Vehicle
2007 Honda Civic EX 2dr Coupe w/Navigation System (1.8L 4cyl 5A)
Review
I like the car but it's not for everyone. This car is better suited for someone who works at an office, college student (with some cash or daddy) who will mostly use it on freeways. I average on long trips on the highway around 36mpg to 40mpg going at 65 to 70mph. I drive kind of aggressive so I get around 25mpg mixed driving. I work at a shipyard so I'm always dirty and carry stuff with me so having a 2door is impractical. Also I'm 6'1 and this car is kind of low and with the moonroof there is not much head room for tall drivers. Also legroom is a bit short. Other than that it drives very good, looks great and many aftermarket options. I have projector lamp and L.E.D tail lights. Test drive it.
Favorite Features
Digital sppedometer and dash. Interior looks of very good quality. 4-wheel disk brakes (better stopping). 2door, looks sporty and young. Seats are more supportive and better looking than the sedan. Steering wheel (better looking than the sedan) side door shape (again better looking than the sedan).
Suggested Improvements
The parking brake gets on the way for tall drivers. Gated Shifter stick ( not in a straight line) VSA, better navi. NAVI IS TOO EXPENSIVE! For $1000 you can get one that plays DVDs, instead of paying close to $2000 (factory) for something that is limited in features. More colors and more options.
Happy with it...

Drive a round trip to work of 140 miles. We get 41 mpg with synthetic oil at 70 mph. Not 1 problem, car has 83,000 miles. Fun to drive, enjoy the great mileage and for the price is unbeatable. Tires will make it to 100,000 miles. Bought some comfy seat cushions. Downside is road noise but really not a problem. Makes you smile everyday with the mileage and we take 6-8 hour trips on vacation. We are in our 40's too.
Favorite Features
Tight steering, great mileage, reliability above all, resale value, purchase price, fun to drive. Airbags all around.
Suggested Improvements
Seat cushions and road noise.

Very Good Car
Vehicle
2007 Honda Civic EX 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 5A)
Review
Over all, this a very good car. 32,000 miles on it and no major problems. Love the sporty handling and steering. The gas mileage is good. Bad sun visor design. The glue that holds them together seems to melt in the sun. Had to replace tires @ 20k but that seems to be the norm for most makes now. Driver's seat needs better thigh support.
Favorite Features
Atomic Blue paint. Alloy wheels. Exterior styling. Small steering wheel with radio controls. Solid, sporty feel. Good gas mileage.
Suggested Improvements
Better speakers. Interior plastics scratch easily. How about offering a power driver's seat?
