After driving off the lot, stopped at the first stop sign and the car died. Then I realized (ding!) that's reality- the gas engine is off! I am so impressed that the technology is real. Gets an easy 45mpg without effort in city, max city/hwy after a week is 48. Car is quiet- comfortable, great stereo (hydrid has 6 speakers) and seats don't look cheap. doors are so light you have to remember not to slam them. Convenience of cruise and stereo controls on steering lets you keep eyes on the road. This car looks great from the outside but impressive looks within don't stop. Wife just bought a Scion TC a few months ago, now wants to trade it in as her 28mpg is now not good enough.
Console 0-100 MPH real time electronic gauge. You can see the MPG # change as you change your driving habits. I coast more now. Gauge challenges me to stay over 50 mpg. Great dashboard lighing-comforable blue hue. Powerful AC and auto climate control
Fold down back seat, shorter roof top antenna. Bluetooth, coin holder, 2 cupholders for back seats. A fold down arm rest that the EX has would be a real nice addition
