if you are paying ANYTHING AT ALL, then yes. them having your car that long- they should be providing a free rental car. in addition you should not have to pay for any labor, parts, shipping, or storage costs. i'm kind of a bitch, but the squeaky (and bitchy) wheels get oiled first. i just told them it was unacceptable and how humiliated honda should be for even releasing ... We have the 2003 Civic Hybrid and have gone through two transmission replacements and the catalytic converter replacement. They were all under warranty, but now we're at 108,000 miles and today when I applied the brakes, a ding ding ding sound went off and wouldn't stop unless I turned the car off. Hi, I brought my Honda civic 2003 hybrid to MIDAS for oil change/front break pads change and since then the current fuel mileage display stopped working. Reading the manual you can supposedly turn it on/off by pressing the reset button 10 seconds with the key on position "II", which is also how they did turn off the maintenance light. I own a 2003 Handa CIvic Hybrid. The IMA light came on after only 60K miles and 5 years. Of course Honda replaced the IMA battery under warranty. I asked the dealer if this new battery is also covered under warranty and the answer is no. So, in another 5 years I will have to pay the $2000.00 for a new battery. Why is pricing on new Civics varying so much?

From reading this forum, seems as if some buyers are (still) getting "invoice pricing" on new Civics while others are getting MSRP quotes. Is this a regional phenomenon? Or is it because some dealers have more coming in from the factory than others? Just curious. Also wonder what will occur once the special financing goes away after the 7th of July. Honda now gives 8 year warranties on the batteries... so that's when I would assume they expect them to die. I've heard between 5 and 8 years. I'm worried because I have a 2003 Civic Hybrid and it's getting a rebuilt transmission after only 80,000 and has had transmission problems since I bought it in August of 2006. Unfortunately, a lot of the Civic Hybrids have really crappy transmissions. Many people have had to have them replaced or otherwise repaired after less than 100,000 or even less than 50,000 miles. Mine (2003) was bad at 60,000 and I've had a terrible time trying to get Honda to fix my vehicle, even with a warranty. It's actually at the dealership right now getting ... Read More...

Every since I purchased my 2003 Civic Hybrid in 2006 I have heard this annoying rattling sound under the dash. It sounds like it's coming from near the passenger air bag. It is usually at speeds between 5 and 35 mph and worse on certain surfaces. My 2003 Civic Hybrid is getting a rebuild transmission from Honda right now. It has only 80,000 miles on it! I bought the car in 2006 and since then have had trouble with the transmission.
