I have a 2004 HCH that I bought used in 2007. I've had the transmission clutch cleaned (I don't know for sure what they do) about seven months or so ago. It did a rumble thing when I'd take off. Well, now it's hesitating to shift when I first start out and doing the grumble thing again. Any ideas what I should do? I don't have warranty on it - there's 185K miles on it. Read More...

We've just been told that our 2nd Catalytic Converter in our 2003 Honda Hybrid is bad. The first one was replaced at 92K by Honda for free after we raised hell about since it had failed in 2007, within 4 years of the so called 8-year warranty, although our mileage had been to 92K. I purchased a new 2003 Civic Hybrid. My maintenance schedule was maintained. The vehicle experience: Warranty service was provided for transmission Judder and Slippage. 2008 Hybrid Battery replaced. 2009 Transmission replaced. Conclusion: No more Hondas. Read More...

I check the tire pressure with each fill up and have never had a tire below recommended PSI. In 2005 at 3100 miles I had to replace the original tires due to uneven wear and cupping. Thanks for your note. My CheckEngine light did go out, after more than a week. It has not relit. So, I'm with you, I'm going to drive the car until circumstances say otherwise. I have a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid with close to 140k miles. I got the update and I still get the Check Engine light after a a few weeks of having the light turned off. Actually you have to weight them (each set/one) to really know. There are some "enthusiasts' " sites that actually keep this "informal" non official data. I even think that if you went to your local (in your example Honda) dealer, to get the official data, it would take a while to get the correct answers, if they knew at all.
