Re: Need advise about Civic maintenance [accord_guy]

According to the Honda service manual for the 2001-2002 Civic, the timing belt should be replaced at either 110,000 mi or 7 years for both normal and severe driving conditions. VW Golf vs Honda Civic

Re: Another Factor in Golf vs. Civic [david62]

I've read the stats & all, but I wanted some real life stuff. I make a long commute to work (about 2.5 hrs roundtrip). I live in central WV...is this car good on icy roads? My parents ... Honda Civic Coupe / Civic Si 2006+

Re: was at the dealer today.. my complaints/thoughts [only1harry]

Just curious, did u buy the Honda Civic? Also, you were correct about the cloth material, I have small tears in my seat due to seat belt usage, which should not be, especially after owning the car only 3 months. And since I also own a 2001 Civic and has not happened on that vehicle, it does appear they have gone "cheap" on some things as you stated. Let me know. Read More...

2006 Honda Civic Coupe (EX) Cloth Seat Problems

Has anyone out there experienced any tears on the side of the seat from seat belt usage? I have only had the vehicle 3 months and I have noticed small tears on the side of the seat from putting the seat belt on and off. In addition, should Honda pay for this since the car is so new? I own a 2001 Civic w/cloths seats, bought it new as well, and this did not happen. Pls advise, ... Read More...
